Program has advanced greatly in just two months. I’m a member and can verify this. It’s advancing so fast that every time I activate the app new ATC comes through to my surprise. I love this program.
Just wanted to say this for making this! It’s taken me way too long to learn ATC and this is the best tool so far that has helped. The added Mentor Ai is amazing for helping with what to say on the radio calls. I also appreciate how quick the AI responds now compared to the older versions which is what put me off initially.
Must say this software gets better every day with new features I'm so happy I subscribed its actually teaching me so much and this add on is gonna teach me exactly what I should be saying to atc
It's been requested before and I agree, a co-pilot who could *read checklist* (simple text file or PDF)... (with pause/resume capability at the request of the PF) would be awesome! Especially for those of us who fly exclusively in VR. What I'm currently using is an audio player to read my custom checklist that I have to covert to an audio (wav) file, after using a TTS program (because my voice is still recovering from surgery and doesn't sound that great at the moment). Cabin crew chat is nice, and I'm sure many simmers enjoy that type of thing. For me as a real world private pilot, a co-pilot who can work ATC comms AND checklist is far more valuable lol. Even more so until my voice sounds much better. Great job you guys are doing and I'm looking forward to seeing this thing take off (pun intended). That said, I'll be trying the 24hr trial soon 😅 ~Flight Simulator hobbyist since 1983 (C-64). Age 16~
It wouldn't be too hard as far as I can tell. It reads a bulleted list. You just tell him your done. Co-Pilot CP- Test and set brakes. Pilot P- Brakes Test and set check CP- Beacon on P- Beacon on Check..... Wouldn't be that difficult I wouldn't think. Also you could do it for any checklist. "Brian start the before takeoff checklist." "Brian start the normal takeoff checklist" "Brian start the climb checklist"........
@@foxtrotdeltausn4757 has anyone tried gtting the checklists from Brian? I agree that it would be a great feature, if the co-pilot could read checklists. More immersive and real.
Besides high fidelity planes, this is the best purchase I’ve made for MSFS. It has its issues now and then, but with the amount of fixes and updates, and changes that are made almost daily I have full trust this will be a perfectly polished product with so much immersion it is the ONLY option for ATC in the very near future.
I agree with Brian. That's not the job of the co-pilot as programed. SI is primarily an ATC provider. The SI co-pilot helps with this. The one thing it isn't meant to be is a co-pilot in the sense that a first officer would be for.
The program is awesome but could you please please add the distortion effect when cabin crew is speaking to passangers. Because at the moment it is too clean, which breaks the immersion.
@@RobAirepicflights Have fun with it -when they talk to you as a captain they sound clear, when they talk to the passengers they get a small effect applied to their voices.
im going to start using my 24 free trial, just watched this and im amazed that I don't have to be on vatsim anymore and have no pressure to respond accordingly!
One more request if it is possible. Would it be doable to add the announcement made by co pilot to passenger while boarding about the trip, expected flight time and expected weather and welcome them on behalf of the whole crew. I know the cabin crew does similar thing already, which is amazing but I real life most of the time, we get PA announcement from second officer while boarding. If you do this, I would be happiest virtual pilot ever. Your software is already outstanding and I now only fly with it. Thank you for your continuous support. Much appreciated
I tried this a few months back for VFR in the UK, but found it wanting. Hopefully this has improved since then, but I don't see much online. Not everyone wants to fly a bus.
Hi, I've set my intercom button and I've downloaded the latest version. And the Co-Pilot feature isn't showing up. I'm in the UK and I'm using Xplane 12. Any suggestions on this? Got it, the experimental server activated it
I have the same problem in MSFS. I HAVE activated the experimental server (I think), but still no Co-Pilot. Running 2.7.0.3, however the “Experimental” header is not showing. Suggestions?
This is an interesting feature that could be useful for long flights during cruise or tricky approaches when ATC wants you to tune radios while you're lining up on the runway. However, asking the co-pilot to do specific things doesn't seem as useful as asking ATC yourself.
@@joeynuggetz 2 things to address that... Readback Enforcement was enabled with the same update; and if you tell the pilot they have the comms, you don't need to prompt them for every reply, they handle it completely on its own 🙂
Great video - loving the English narrator! Question: As a GA flyer (Cessna 152), does having the co-pilot add any weight to my plane? Even a small co-pilot (thinking of you, Brian), even a small weight addition makes a big difference to how my plane handles.

Got it, the experimental server activated it

@sunegranzow2602 switch to experimental, shut down the program and re-open it.
That's what fixed it for me anyway
Could we get a classy British airways Co-pilot voice in the future?
Don´t trigger me :)
You got one!
i'm confused, when you where handed over to tower, was that you or brian replying?
Brilliant!
Will SayIntentionsAI be available for Xplane 11 and 12?
@@manegerswansan5737 We've supported Xplane 11/12 since June 😁
When you picked up the IFR clearance, the controller told you what the current ATIS was. Does that only work on the experimental server?

Cant wait for the new gpt4o voices... It's prety good as it is but the voices still feel a little robotic/syntetic. Awesome feature tough
does the co pilot work with VATSIM?
Not sure if it does since I think SayIntentions was invented for people intimidated by VATSIM :-)
Does the copilot not know the actual altitude of the aircraft? I noticed Brian announced climbing past 1500, not 2500 as shown on the altitude tape.
You're watching a video from the alpha stages of this feature, it's come a long way in the months since :)

Brian sounds like brian, very impressive. But the atc is not impressive, its like a robot. Not the best from sayintensions...
