Yes - turn the sub-dial to Movies then choose Manu > Shooting > Shooting Display > Emphasised REC Display For complete support for your camera consider downloading the 500-page eBook and CAMSET (camera setup file) from my Patreon.com/markgaler support channel.
If you have Slot 1 set to RAW and Slot 2 set to JPEG, with auto switch media ON, if Slot 1 fills up what format would be written to Slot 2? RAW or JPEG?
It switches to saving RAW + JPEGs to slot 2, i.e. you get both file formats on the same SD card. For an in-depth understanding of these cameras, you may like to head over to Patreon.com/markgaler where you can download a 500-page eBook for your camera Patreon.com/markgaler
Regarding A7IV. Is it correct (or partly correct, or wrong) that “rec. media settings” can be set independently for stills/movies/S&Q in each of the MR 1/2/3 modes (3x3 different rec. media settings possible), but cannot be set independently for stills/movies/S&Q in either of the P/A/S/M modes (only 1 saved and shared setting possible)?
Amazing Mark. Thank you for this new year's gift :)
Happy new year!
Thanks.
You're welcome

You can select different Rec Media Settings for the registered memories but PASM share the same Rec. media Settings.
