That last clip was like something that would happen in Yu-gi-oh. The good guy would be like "I summon Bittertide Hydra! For only 5 mana I get an 8/8. It inquires a really big drawback but I have to take my chances". And the cheating bad guy with the busted card would be like "Ha... muahahaha. You call that a play? I summon Naga Seawitch!Thanks to her effect I can also summon my whole hand of 0 mana 8/8s with NO DRAWBACKS!!"

It's ok in wild, because there are enough conters, for example Lightbomb, Pyro + Equality, Pirat Warrior...
Chances for having those on turn 5 when you mulligan for an aggressive hunter tho

You realize that a druid can ramp a 5/5 and a few 8/8's out while you only have 4 mana the next turn. They'll probably nerf molten now so it costs 40 mana. To play around it you can jsut never hit your opponent's face and never play any minions, easy right.

If you pause it right, you can see the next opponent is rank 20, but from then on the Rank1 legend is blocking it all :D

whatever happened to my man dr boom? i miss him. back then when 7 mana 7/7 that summons 1/1s was broken... now we summon five 8/8s for five, infinites 10/10s, exodia combos... i miss dr boom
I don't. Those early expansions sucked. Nax was good in concept but remember when undertaker ruled the meta? Best expansion was by far old gods. But there have always been annoying decks

21:00 25% Chance at lethal missed by opponent (spell power totem)
Marius Wirtherle and he didn't evolve before so he could have gotten a spell minion
The 25% chance may have been the objective best play. However, it is difficult to calculate the chances of evolving into minions that would save his life or kill his opponent. The odds of him rolling a spell power or charger or multiple taunts to allow him an extra turn could possibly be better than 25% when added all together. I doubt it, but without doing the math I can't say for certain. He only had to get lucky on one minion as there was a charger for all evolves on the table. Roughly I think it would be about 12% just to get a charger to kill.
Note that single Murdoch he killed off earlier could of literally won him that game if it went and not to the 2/2

Some people say kripps bad at hearthstone, but yet in this video he is able to beat the rank one wild legend player multiple times. Kripp is one of the best players in hearthstone.

I think naga sea witches effect got changed because professor putricide's final phase uses the same effect (Making things cost 5) so they wanted to change the way it works before people got to that wing of the adventure.

I used to love Wild format, there's so much more variety there than just nonstop Druid and Pirate Warrior in Standard. But then this Naga Sea Witch/Giant deck took over everything. Ran into 4 in a row, and decided to stop playing Wild altogether until it hopefully (most likely won't, though) gets a fix.

At 20:55 such a missplay! If that shaman had totemic called a wrath of air totem, jade lightning was leathal.
Letting people know that cost takes effect before or after probably confuses some players. Probably should just say the Base cost becomes 5 when Naga is in play and all cost reductions effect the card as normal.

Won't it make more sense for the card to set the max cost of the cards to 5, so mountain giant would be 5 cost until you go under 10 of life etc

This deck vs this deck is one of the few situations where you want to go second, that. Coin wins you the game because you can get the witch out earlier.

This got me thinking what happens if a player drops that 3 mana taunt that brings out minions to bring out the molten giant, so that its cost isnt lowered enough to be played by the player, then gets devolved

Can any1 explain to me how this works im confused? Your Cards cost (5) so how come his 7 mana cards etc suddenly drop to 0? Am I missing something here
Big Mike first, they are set to 5 mana, then each giants cost reduction kicks in like 'Costs less per minion on board' or 'Cost less the more health you lost' etc. So in case for the Molten Giant that woulf mean, 5 mana at first, and when he is at 25 health or lower, then it's 0 mana
