I have a big company reached out to me asking me did I had any sample prototypes which I sent out, after received another call saying they were interested in getting the license agreement paperwork all together to negotiate a licensing deal, never heard back from them and when I text message the guy no answer, so I just decided to stop looking for a licensing deal and just build my product and brand up myself.

That can happen, and it is very frustrating and disheartening. The nice thing is that it is your product and your life! You get to choose to do whatever feels right for you with your ideas and sometimes it takes trying different things to know what that is. If pivoting to a venture model from licensing feels right then I 100% support you! Keep in mind that when you change paths you are trading one set of problems for another, so being persistent will be the soft skill that gets you across the finish line no matter which model you choose for commercializing your products. I love that you didn't just give up! Cheers!

It’s easier said than done. 👀🤷🏽‍♀️ Companies show interest then drop the ball. Honestly, it can be exhausting. But, you can’t give up. 🙏🏽 Thanks for sharing and helping Inventors.

Yes, I like to say simple, not easy. But when it gets really hard, that’s when those soft skills can be most valuable. How we think makes a big difference and how well we succeeded at whatever we attempt. Are you getting turned down by emails or are you actually getting to pitch question that’s always the goal so that we can at least learn something from everyone of those conversations for the next one. Make it your goal to get to the bottom of what the problem is rather than getting a license and I bet you’ll at least know what it’s going to take to get across the finish line.of course you can book a call if you’d like help! Cheers!
