    Absolutely, Ben. You can make loads up, wrap them individually in cling film and freeze them.

    i made a bait holder, slightly curved metal or plastic about 20mm accross.You can make up big baits with elastic then slide the holder out and leave a streamlined bait.

    Good idea. I have a bad track record with bait needles though. :-)

    May I ask how long will that stay fresh for, or do you freeze that as is? as i think this a great idea but think it would take me hours to set up at least 20 of those. Wanting to mainly know if freezing this would be ok. Maybe put in a ice slurry? Cheers mate :}

    hi dave love your vids. Are ammo the best supplier of frozen peelers. I bought some last year ( not ammo)snd they were rubbish. took them out of the packet and they were just frozen water. Like slush puppies. Wouldnt stay on hook even with elastic

      jayswin2 I usually use Ammo or Baits R Us frozen bait. I've never had a problem with either of them.

    Hi Dave. I would like to try this with Cart. Can the Squid be defrosted and Re-frozen ? Cheers mate and a gr8 tutorial. ! Tight Lines.

      +Brian Porteous Hi Brian, Its a similar thing - however Cart will probably come in Blocks, you can wrap the squid around it after removing the covering for the Cart, and then use the bait elastic as shown there, I have refrozen squid before but only whan I cannot get hold of fresh, however a lot of the juices would be lost.

      I would imagine that this would also be an absolutely deadly smoothhound bait in the summer too yeah Dave?

    Could you do all this .. elastic and then freeze? Can't see me having time to do this on a session.

      Your best of peeling the crab and then freezing until you need it cos you don’t wana be peeling them with freezing cold fingers in winter
