So sad yet so vital for the families last memories of their fallen loved one. This is one job l hope he never needs to do in the future. May our fallen rest in peace forevermore.
As an Airman, in the USAF, I was stationed at Dovver AFB and had the blessed opportunity to serve as a Body Escort for a fallen Airman who had lost his life in an automobile accident in Germany. I have to say that those who serve at the Port Mortuary, at Dover AFB, and I must say that they are all professional beyond professional. Much love and thanks to all of them!!!!
Amen.
This is one job I don't think I could have done. In a deployed unit you can possibly see a few lost here or there, these guys see all of them. Semper Fi young man.
It's not all wine, roses, and glory. It sounds like a hard job, but someone has to do it. Thank you, LCpl Beaty, for your service, and Happy Birthday, Devil Dog!
A position that requires a good heart and soul. Thank you for what you do.....
You can hear that this matters to him, it's no act or simple job. It matters because they are his brothers and sisters and he looks after family.
From a Royal Marine I say, well done brother, good effort. I hope you and yours are safe and well.
Thank you ! For protecting your own.
Military first, honor 🇺🇸
