- How I used the Blackmagic URSA Mini Pro G2 to film a low budget television commercial called "York."
Good to be back on RUclips! Along with a quick life update, this video covers the basic process of how I went about pitching and creating a low budget TVC named "YORK" for a local client called the 'Black Swan State Theatre Company' in Western Australia. Using my trust URSA Mini Pro G2 and the 300 fps slow motion feature, it was great to really push the camera to it's limits.

Thanks my love 😘
I am so happy for you and for your film being awarded!!!!!!
Thank you for this inside view of your thought process. It seems the best 'how-to' videos focus on initial thoughts, systematic research, clearly proposed solutions, detailed planning, and nagging worries. Lastly, they also include what we learn along the way that we never knew before and how we might do things differently the next time around -- insights into an evolving process ...not just the 'right' way to do it.
Amazing work and your explanation behind it all is a masterclass - thank you!
Really appreciate the comment Preet! I will keep the videos coming :)

Great to see you back on RUclips mate... congrats on the Last Horn of Africa well deserved! quick question for you: have you tried or work with the 12k Black Magic at all? I talked to some people and they had told me they like the Ursa mini G2 better, (dynamic range being one of treasons...). I don't think I had seen anyone getting such a beautiful images from a Black Magic as you mate! Amazing! congrats also on the York commercial! Last question: I am based in NYC... is Last Horns Of Africa playing here sometime soon? Cheers!
hey Garth!
question,
for the best image quality, is it best to record in 4k?

Where did you go about hiring your crew and actor?
It’s was a mix of friends I’ve worked with for while and some extra local crew that work on stage productions and screen. Networking is a huge part of finding local crew. My fiancé and I also work together on every project. She’s a producer 👌
