Ok, the first time I got to Liyue I got shocked. In Mondstadt, I didn't pay too much attention to the soundtrack, not even the world, I was just focused in finding chests and fighting enemies, but when I came to this part of the map, and this soundtrack started playing, I just stopped, and looked at my surroundings, and it was so beautiful. I don't know if it's because I'm going through some stress rn or what but god, at that moment I felt so much things. To be honest, I didn't even imagine how beautiful this game could be when I first heard of it.
I was the same. When I stumbled upon liyue and the amazing soundtracks start playing I just sat there listening to the music and seeing how beautiful the scenery was inside the game .

At first i thought there was only the region of Mondstadt bcuz that is already very big. But when I discovered the Map and went to Liyue i was so impressed how beautiful the game is. I was standing at the top of a mountain in liyue for like 1 hour and watched the landscape and listening to the beautiful music.

People were pissed about this game before release because everyone thought it was a blatant botw clone, and its quality + being f2p was really the only thing that made people give it a try anyway. It sucks but the gacha is what keeps the game alive so it's best to just try not to get too caught up on the grindy and p2w aspects of the game, and enjoy the exploration and story since that's arguably the most fun and least repetitive part of the game. I usually just chill and wait for the next story update which might sound boring, but I usually fill that time with other games so it's not too bad, better than getting frustrated over the gacha rates and mora droughts at least.

It's weird how these tracks remind you how wonderful it is to breathe. In, and out, and it fills you with the world around you and then it keeps you alive even after you've released it back out and let a tiny bit of you go with it. Isn't that awesome?
I think that's why LiYue is my favorite city right now. The moment you see LiYue Harbor over the hill as you walk up to it or Climb to the top of Qingyun Peak, and you take in the scenery of this fantastical world, you can't help up be mesmerized as the music just gently reminds you to take it all in.
if I had a full immersion VR headset like Kirito from “Sword Art Online”, I would never leave the game. I would not try to win to return to the real world. I feel at home in this game. I have never felt so good in any place as here; especially in Monstadt (less in Li Yue, but I absolutely adore that location too). I feel completely happy and carefree when I’m playing. It feels like I never suffered from depression at all. returning to my routine life, I feel a terrible longing for "home". real life is just unbearable. how I wish I could get into this game...
Personally speaking I think it is the true life that makes this game so amazing. I've found what I am in this game because it provides me all I want and dream of which the "true life" can never offer (Like living in a world where I can use magic, fly, explore freely and even bully poor old slimes XD) I would just enjoy the game whenever I am tired of daily routines of reality(No offense but Financial accounting is REALLY boring...). So to some extent it is a place to recharge myself or to say to get fueled to face the real world :) Besides, Liyue feels more like home for me. I have always wished to live in the ancienct Chinese architectures but not modern buildings. And Mondstadt to me is more like an excellent exotic place I'd like to travel to and get to know its culture.
Liyue Hills night makes me so emotional. I don’t know how to word it. But it’s definitely my favourite song throughout the whole soundtrack of the game. It really touches my heart

i still remember an online friend of mine introduced me into genshin impact, we've been friends for 3 years. mondstat was a whole new experience, she help me as soon as i reach AR 16, although she was just AR 25 then, she seemed so cool leading me through the wild. Then we set off to liyue, just gliding, sprinting and walking, when we reached wangshu inn i was mesmerized, it was a very a very special experience. Then she said, "wait until we reached liyue harbour". I was very excited, i call still feel the thrill! Genshin Impact will forever have a very special place in my heart! And i hope Hannah and I can be friend for a long time, even after the twins finally get to reunite. And i wanna meet her someday irl xo tree
Man, a lot of these tracks spark such an odd mix of emotion; sadness, misty intrigue, as well as hope. Perfect for a region full of rich history, literally transports me to a different world, a beautiful fantasy for writing and worldbuilding.

Honestly, I don't think it matters what they do with any of the next regions. Liyue will always hold a special place in my heart- the soundtrack, the scenery, the *characters,* it's all amazing. It's honestly so comforting to go to Liyue and just- walk around, listening to the soundtrack, enjoying the view. (Makes it better when I do it as Zhongli, because he is amazingly comforting aswell.) Genshin Impact overall mostly has that effect, but it's Liyue where it's strongest.

I have to say this. People might think that being to addicted to Genshin is bad for our health, but I disagree (kinda) with that. Some of us aren't here for the amazing graphic design and how amazing the game is, some of us are just here for the music along with the beautiful scenery. Its rather calm to say, watching the sunset rise when you're on a hill hits different than those irl 3AM walk.
Sometimes it is hard to believe that this is a free game, some AAA titles doesn't have even the littlest grasp of good soundtrack like this game, the game doesn't have the best graphics ever but they nailed it at the moment of combining the landscape, the people and experiences someone could live in the game.
I often visit Qingyun Peak's Floating Island after done with my dailies, just to take a break and relax before signing out of the game. The music there is really calming.
6:05 feels like the piano and instruments sounds echo across the map at night while you peacefully enjoy the beauty of the scenery... It gives me shivers just thinking about it... Truly a beautiful piece of art :')
I often have pretty negative thoughts running in my head, but this music helps me face it in a good way if that makes any sense. I don't just push my emotions away, but this music helps me accept them but still not let them overwhelm me. It really makes me feel happy :)
I always find myself coming back to this video to listen to the tracks of Liyue when I have a hard time sleeping. Even after the release of Inazuma I feel like the feeling of this bittersweet warmth that Liyue’s tracks can provide is untouchable. The soundtracks of Liyue feels like a warm yet cold hug at the same time. The tracks always shows me an image of a little me laying on my mother’s lap feeling her warm hand caressing my head as I fall asleep, the coldness I feel however comes from the reminder that such a time has passed and I will never experience it again. There’s this inexplainable feeling of nostalgia and longing that the tracks of Liyue always gives me. This is one of the many reasons why Liyue will always have a special place in my heart. Kudos to the composer(s) for producing these amazing heartfelt tracks. I hope they know their works are loved and appreciated by many and has provided comfort to other people like me as well.
When I first discovered the mountain area where the adepti chill and I still had to climb all the mountains for the teleport way points and such, the most relaxing thing ever happened to me, just imagine: I just finished climbing the highest mountain I could find after a good 20 minutes of planning the optimal route to make it without the glider, and I'm just standing there, in silence, proud of my, admittedly easy to achieve, accomplishment gazing upon the vasteness of liyue expanding below me, and then suddenly the Qinqyun peak theme kicks in just as the sun starts to set over this beautiful area.
Whenever i feel down, liyue osts always made me feel like I'm going to be alright, even i have this very tough situations today, these songs made me feel calm, that's why i always like going to liyue, it helps me relax
Hearing Liyue music has always been so relaxing. Even now after a year I still love the game but Liyue in particular made me feel in love with it. The landscape, the music and especially qingyun peak after you finish the puzzle and seeing the sunset from there. It really made me want to live in Teyvat, seeing it's people and just enjoying everything that it has to offer
Even though I have played The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, I love this game so much that I hope the game never ends. Just listening to Liyue OST feels nostalgic already...

Half a year later I can perfectly tell which soundtrack belongs in which area and it just feels like you're at home. These tracks will hit harder in a few more years I swear.
11:18 is my favorite for how it's so peaceful and positive. It tells me to move on just like for the traveler to move on and search for his sister/her brother. This always never fails to make me tear up or feel happy. This, to me, is the best studying music to listen to along with Qingyn Peak Night and Liyue Harbor night/day. Yu-Peng Chen was a legend of this kind of music.

I loved liyue so much more than mondstadt personally. it was just so beautiful and I had so much to explore. the place i actually really loved in mondstadt was dragonspine but something about liyue just made me happy and sorta comfortable (idk why) and gave me the urge to explore

When I first started, I really loved Mondstadts upbeat music and I loved the people there and everything. If it weren’t for my friend, i wouldn’t even know that Liyue existed- But as soon as I got there, I was very shocked. All the different people and so many mountains and domains. And it was much bigger than mondstadt too. And the music was so heavenly but sad at the same time. Truly an amazing journey this has been so far.
I'd always teleport to Qingyun Peak's statue of the seven for the music and the view from atop is always so serene. And I'd always clear the bushes around the statue to keep it clean XD
Even though this game can sometime be a pain (when artifact farming or dying most of the time, or just buggy stuff happening), the music and the scene ray can just be amazing and breath taking, just admiring the world, thinking what beautiful game it is.
ah music, how you bring forth so many emotions! I have promised myself to keep coming back to this game because man, it is such a gem. It has been only couple months since I played it but hearing the soundtrack makes it all feel so nostalgic. My life keeps moving forward and where it's at right now is mysterious and kinda scary how it will all turn out, but knowing I can come back to Genshin anytime, and again zone out of reality to feel at ease brings me calm.

I have to say this. People might think that being to addicted to Genshin is bad for our health, but I disagree (kinda) with that. Some of us aren't here for the amazing graphic design and how amazing the game is, some of us are just here for the music along with the beautiful scenery. Its rather calm to say, watching the sunset rise when you're on a hill hits different than those irl 3AM walk.
Sometimes it is hard to believe that this is a free game, some AAA titles doesn't have even the littlest grasp of good soundtrack like this game, the game doesn't have the best graphics ever but they nailed it at the moment of combining the landscape, the people and experiences someone could live in the game.
This game got me out of my shell to see the great big world :)

I often visit Qingyun Peak's Floating Island after done with my dailies, just to take a break and relax before signing out of the game. The music there is really calming.

I often have pretty negative thoughts running in my head, but this music helps me face it in a good way if that makes any sense. I don't just push my emotions away, but this music helps me accept them but still not let them overwhelm me. It really makes me feel happy :)

I always find myself coming back to this video to listen to the tracks of Liyue when I have a hard time sleeping. Even after the release of Inazuma I feel like the feeling of this bittersweet warmth that Liyue’s tracks can provide is untouchable. The soundtracks of Liyue feels like a warm yet cold hug at the same time. The tracks always shows me an image of a little me laying on my mother’s lap feeling her warm hand caressing my head as I fall asleep, the coldness I feel however comes from the reminder that such a time has passed and I will never experience it again. There’s this inexplainable feeling of nostalgia and longing that the tracks of Liyue always gives me. This is one of the many reasons why Liyue will always have a special place in my heart. Kudos to the composer(s) for producing these amazing heartfelt tracks. I hope they know their works are loved and appreciated by many and has provided comfort to other people like me as well.

When I first discovered the mountain area where the adepti chill and I still had to climb all the mountains for the teleport way points and such, the most relaxing thing ever happened to me, just imagine: I just finished climbing the highest mountain I could find after a good 20 minutes of planning the optimal route to make it without the glider, and I'm just standing there, in silence, proud of my, admittedly easy to achieve, accomplishment gazing upon the vasteness of liyue expanding below me, and then suddenly the Qinqyun peak theme kicks in just as the sun starts to set over this beautiful area.

Whenever i feel down, liyue osts always made me feel like I'm going to be alright, even i have this very tough situations today, these songs made me feel calm, that's why i always like going to liyue, it helps me relax

Hearing Liyue music has always been so relaxing.
Even now after a year I still love the game but Liyue in particular made me feel in love with it. The landscape, the music and especially qingyun peak after you finish the puzzle and seeing the sunset from there. It really made me want to live in Teyvat, seeing it's people and just enjoying everything that it has to offer
Even though I have played The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, I love this game so much that I hope the game never ends. Just listening to Liyue OST feels nostalgic already...

The soundtrack's one of the things that makes Genshin Impact such a beautiful game, it's literally a journey. Im just happy I got introduced to this game. :)
Half a year later I can perfectly tell which soundtrack belongs in which area and it just feels like you're at home. These tracks will hit harder in a few more years I swear.
quingce village night is one of my favorites, there's something so catchy about it, especially with the piano
11:18 is my favorite for how it's so peaceful and positive. It tells me to move on just like for the traveler to move on and search for his sister/her brother. This always never fails to make me tear up or feel happy. This, to me, is the best studying music to listen to along with Qingyn Peak Night and Liyue Harbor night/day. Yu-Peng Chen was a legend of this kind of music.

I loved liyue so much more than mondstadt personally. it was just so beautiful and I had so much to explore. the place i actually really loved in mondstadt was dragonspine but something about liyue just made me happy and sorta comfortable (idk why) and gave me the urge to explore
as a player who left genshin after 1.2 update, i miss my second home. i treasure genshin, im missing out on a lot of things especially with inazuma and the rest. ill be back my beloved. 😭❤

Ahh this music is so much relaxing. Whenever I heard this music played in Liyue region I paused for awhile and listen to it first.

When I first started, I really loved Mondstadts upbeat music and I loved the people there and everything. If it weren’t for my friend, i wouldn’t even know that Liyue existed- But as soon as I got there, I was very shocked. All the different people and so many mountains and domains. And it was much bigger than mondstadt too. And the music was so heavenly but sad at the same time. Truly an amazing journey this has been so far.
I currently have a headache so I came here to heal and it helped so much💞💞 I love this soundtrack so much it’s close to my heart.

The moment I arrived LiYue,I just froze my character and started to turn the camera 360 slowly just to enjoy the music and the scenery.
I'd always teleport to Qingyun Peak's statue of the seven for the music and the view from atop is always so serene. And I'd always clear the bushes around the statue to keep it clean XD

Even though this game can sometime be a pain (when artifact farming or dying most of the time, or just buggy stuff happening), the music and the scene ray can just be amazing and breath taking, just admiring the world, thinking what beautiful game it is.
