When the lore endgame has settle, a lot of players will never forget the moment the first set foot on Mondstadt, the music here is so beautiful, so calm and they fit so much throughout the sceneries.

The music makes you feel nostalgic, you come back to the game and quickly it loses its magic as you remember the long quests with unskippable dialogue, boring events, repetiive content, lack of basic QOL features. This game is amazing for the first few months but after that you're better off dropping it and enjoy soundtracks only. Man I wanna go back. This is exactly why I deleted my acc. I would have gone back already midway through writing this comment. I was addicted. Sometimes i wish i could walk through the screen and go to Teyvat to spent some time with my favorite characters at my favorite places, like; watch Chongyun train, read books with Xingqiu, listen one of Venti's poems while playing his lyre, eat desserts with Ei and Furina, wander around with Wanderer, watch Lyney and Lynette perform a magic show... The places and the music is what made me love Genshin from the second i started to play. Especially, Mondstadt. It always feels like home to be there. Better games can come, almost everyone can start to hate the game, but Genshin will always have the first place in my heart.

Something wuthering waves is missing is a beautiful nostalgic track like genshin has, if there’s one thing that will bring me back to genshin one day it’s the music because it truly is beautiful.
From playing during high school to sobbing while doing Uni assignments. Nowadays I get too busy to play the game, even so, it doesn't feel the same when I do. Perhaps its not the game I'm looking for, but the carefree nature of my past. Alas, at least I am able to find solace in reminiscing old tracks such as these. Thank you.

I’ve loved open world games ever since I was a kid. Im not a hardcore gamer but one thing that made me realize why I loved them is their ambience that you admire and appreciate. Among my favorite list of games, nearly all of them are open world, my main ones being Red Dead 1 and 2, and Zelda BOTW and TOTK (3 of the 4 I’ve 100% completely, still working on TOTK though) Genshin is also on that list of my favorites. And if I were to rank my favorite games in terms of ambience rather than overall, however, Genshin is a undeniable #1 from the sheer amount of scores that are so high quality, memorable, and varied.

I can’t describe the feeling, but listening to Sumeru music feels like home, it gives me the deepest nostalgia for a place that isn’t real. Many say that the storyline for the archon quests in Sumeru was horrible and rushed, but for me , it was a thrilling and heartwarming experience I would kill to go through again for the first time. The scenery of the nation is beautiful, lush and warm and exploring it is always a gift. Thank you Hoyo🫶
Today Wednesday August 21, 2024 at 2:00 p.m., I will delete Genshin Impact after so many feelings I had towards the game, although I did not get to Sumeru, I do not have much storage It's starting to give me lag, and Natlan will be out in a week, so I can't delete the applications I have, It is a super painful sacrifice for me, because I was finally able to feel free and calm in a game that I have wanted to know for many years, of course I will play on the computer, but not much because it is It's my brother's and I don't have that freedom to play whenever I want. Yesterday I hit AR60 after 574 days... almost 2 years of almost playing daily. I love all the tracks in this game, but Sumeru ones always give me a sad yet warm feeling IDK how to explain it. Makes me cry all the time. Its music really touches the soul to the core...
damn - one of the only games where I would take screenshots of the beautiful scenery and stop to look at the surroundings from time to time. I used to leave the game on when i had to study as well: just leaving the menu open to pause it so the music can play in the backround since it was always so calming. Hearing it now makes me feel so nostalgic😭

Same story but I decided to play again after a year and a half.. and Boomshakalaka I had enough storage and I am still playing. My progress is better now. However I know how it feels like when you cannot play the game although you have a huge urge. All I could do then is look back at my experiences and dream of doing it all again. I haven’t been finding myself able to enjoy Genshin the same way since the end of Sumeru, even though I’ve adored much of what Fontaine’s mechanics, characters, music and story have brought to the game… and I think it may be because the circumstances of my life have made it harder to sit down and play for long periods multiple days in a row like I used to, getting completely lost in exploring, upgrading and questing and taking my time instead of rushing to complete what I can in time to jump to other games or tasks to do within the hour- and I won’t pretend I haven’t also grown weary of the gameplay since Wuthering Waves came out and was just far more engaging in that respect for me. But listening to the music like this always brings me back to that simple wonder and love for Genshin and the myriad tales within it that nurtured my obsession and curiosity for years. There’s so much love put into this soundtrack- it truly makes you feel at home, considering every story interwoven into the soundtrack, the land for which it spins the impressions of a fresh breeze, a fine mist, a ray of light, a blanket of warm darkness, the characters whose hearts are being reflected in the leitmotifs, and the memories and emotions that we’ve allowed the melodies to carry for us.

I played genshin since day 1 as a casual player, then i suddenly stopped 1,5 year ago, FF VII Rebirth came out meanwhile, and after that i wasted some time on other games which i played just to “kill some time”. But still, even at work sometimes i listen to my Genshin playlist and its make me very sad and nostalgic….. i wish i could play it again but also i feel like i ve been away for too long. Everyone remember about the game itself, but my story is a little different. I never actually liked to play genshin impact, but for the only girl i really loved it was the most favorite game and i played it with her a lot. One day because of my stupid actions she broke up with me, and since then we almost never spoke a word to each other. Its been almost half of the year ago, but i still couldnt forget her. Ive never deleted genshin impact just to be able to sometimes launch it and to stare far far away, thinking about her and time spent together, because i think ill never see her again.

I realized this week that Genshim, despite some flaws, when you stop to pay attention to the details and how well the game is made, even to listen to Paimom's annoying Speaking of which, the game is very good, not only the story but especially the soundtrack, I regret not having realized this at least 1 year ago.

@manday2267 Music as in instrument only without any lyrics or the singing part can immensely helped you in terms of focus since it would boost concentration, reduce stress level and enhance relaxation. And as for me, I found noises from others -I studied at the library- like chair scraping, pages turning, typing sounds and air con noises to be more distracting than music :))

Yesterday I hit AR60 after 574 days... almost 2 years of almost playing daily. I love all the tracks in this game, but Sumeru ones always give me a sad yet warm feeling IDK how to explain it. Makes me cry all the time. Its music really touches the soul to the core...
I can confidently say I love the soundtrack way more than the game itself :)

damn - one of the only games where I would take screenshots of the beautiful scenery and stop to look at the surroundings from time to time. I used to leave the game on when i had to study as well: just leaving the menu open to pause it so the music can play in the backround since it was always so calming. Hearing it now makes me feel so nostalgic😭
I just spent over 1,5 hours working on one of my books on my laptop while listening to this to focus. It worked well, I wrote 2.3k words.

this brings me back to times where I had my old account back for some reason. I used to play with my online best friend I only had op Genshin but now I don't remember the password to the account, I never talked with my best friend since then. They were so nice and respectfull.

Same story but I decided to play again after a year and a half.. and Boomshakalaka I had enough storage and I am still playing. My progress is better now. However I know how it feels like when you cannot play the game although you have a huge urge. All I could do then is look back at my experiences and dream of doing it all again. I hope you can play again, too.

I haven’t been finding myself able to enjoy Genshin the same way since the end of Sumeru, even though I’ve adored much of what Fontaine’s mechanics, characters, music and story have brought to the game… and I think it may be because the circumstances of my life have made it harder to sit down and play for long periods multiple days in a row like I used to, getting completely lost in exploring, upgrading and questing and taking my time instead of rushing to complete what I can in time to jump to other games or tasks to do within the hour- and I won’t pretend I haven’t also grown weary of the gameplay since Wuthering Waves came out and was just far more engaging in that respect for me.
But listening to the music like this always brings me back to that simple wonder and love for Genshin and the myriad tales within it that nurtured my obsession and curiosity for years. There’s so much love put into this soundtrack- it truly makes you feel at home, considering every story interwoven into the soundtrack, the land for which it spins the impressions of a fresh breeze, a fine mist, a ray of light, a blanket of warm darkness, the characters whose hearts are being reflected in the leitmotifs, and the memories and emotions that we’ve allowed the melodies to carry for us.

i was once thinking “there s nothing better than chill in a never ending game with such a beautiful music, story and characters”. I played genshin since day 1 as a casual player, then i suddenly stopped 1,5 year ago, FF VII Rebirth came out meanwhile, and after that i wasted some time on other games which i played just to “kill some time”. But still, even at work sometimes i listen to my Genshin playlist and its make me very sad and nostalgic….. i wish i could play it again but also i feel like i ve been away for too long. Plus at 36 looks like i cannot enjoy gaming anymore like before which is also sad

Everyone remember about the game itself, but my story is a little different.
I never actually liked to play genshin impact, but for the only girl i really loved it was the most favorite game and i played it with her a lot. One day because of my stupid actions she broke up with me, and since then we almost never spoke a word to each other. Its been almost half of the year ago, but i still couldnt forget her. Ive never deleted genshin impact just to be able to sometimes launch it and to stare far far away, thinking about her and time spent together, because i think ill never see her again.
well this is life man . sometimes it hit u , but u gotta keep moving , making ur self inside this loop of *i wish i didn't do that or if times go back i would did that the other way* well its already happened and u should accept that , if u r able to fix it now or at least try then why not , but if u r not . u gotta move on . life keep going and u should stop torturing yourself with memories that will hurt u , it was nice at some point but for now its jut pain to u , and good luck , the future is still up a head with many possibilities , stay safe brother

@manday2267 Music as in instrument only without any lyrics or the singing part can immensely helped you in terms of focus since it would boost concentration, reduce stress level and enhance relaxation. And as for me, I found noises from others -I studied at the library- like chair scraping, pages turning, typing sounds and air con noises to be more distracting than music :))

I'd wondered how long it would take for the "I pulled a Qiqi" song to come up. Only about 5 and a half minutes, funnily enough. It's a peaceful piece of music, though it's inherently a little hard to avoid giggling.

I started playing Genshin back in 2022. I love the game, the music, and the nations. My parents hated the game, though. I fought tooth and nail to get it back but kept getting banned. I am now permanently banned from the game. I love genshin and I have a music player with all the songs on it. I really miss it, and Listening to the music brings me back... But it hurts yk?
