There's a reason Dimebag is regarded as one of the greatest guitarists to ever live lol. The dude was a prodigy. More Pantera man! Maybe "The Sleep" next? One of Dime's greatest solos
@@BaseballNBacon Honestly I think his best solo of all time is from We'll Meet Again. But nobody knows that song because most Pantera fans don't even realize they made albums before CFH lol
Grew up in Arlington, TX. When I was 12 (1994) me and my friend Avis saw them at the corner store called “Howdy Doody” and they invited us to their house party in the neighborhood hood behind the corner store. Never forget that.. RIP Dimebag and Vinny 🤟🏼🙏🏻❤️
Eddie Van Halen gave Dimebag his black and yellow guitar, Dimebag's favorite, in his casket on his funeral. That's how much respect he garnered in his time. The master gifted him his guitar for life.
Yes sir! Pantera getting the love they deserve! Been listening to them since 2005, they were my first Metal band my friends at that time introduced me to. They always hold a special place in my heart even 16 years later🤘🏻
@@jdawg3629 in the 90’s I was a wee lad who was peeing his diapers and going to kindergarten. Was born in ‘94. Got my first PC and internet access in 2005 but my friend had a PC since 2003 so we were hanging out together playing games and stuff. He was the one who got me into metal in the first place cause he was playing bass. My first metal band was Pantera. Then Slipknot and so on. Before that I was into rock like Linkin Park, Nightwish, Evanescence, etc. Plus I am not from US so I would’ve had 0 chances to see them live anyways. But I do agree that metal is a fountain of youth.
I can't even tell you how much it pleases me to hear you say you're hearing "greatness" while listening to Pantera man. I been a Pantera fan since '92 (I was 14) - and I whole-heartedly agree with that sentiment.
If ya wanna hear Phil (singer of Pantera) check out a band called Down! His singing style for down is soooooo good! A song called "Three suns and one star" is probably one of my favorites from Down. Love the video!!!
Lead singer Is still alive. You're thinking of their guitarist dimebag. Unfortunately he died to crazed manic at a show. The drummer vinnie Paul also died later in 2018 in his sleep. RIP dimebag & Vinnie
Dimebag was a god back in the 90’s! He still was king until his last concert. He is still revered as one of the greatest heavy metal shredders of all time! Love some Pantera!
I like it when people pull up the lyrics instead of complaining that they can't understand what the singer is saying.... This doesn't only happen in metal either, a lot of pop and rap songs I hear have ways of saying words that don't make sense unless I read the lyrics.
