Being a retired teacher I can tell you one reason so many young people know so little about history, geography, and patriotism is they missed out on Social Studies, Geography, and History course work in their education. The government mandated educational program called “NO CHILD LEFT BEHIND “ had teachers being told to skip Social Studies, Geography, and History and to use those class periods to double up on Reading, Math, and Science since they were tested subjects. We are now paying the price for our choice!
And unfortunately they still fail those required course of reading, Mathematics and Science. 😩

@@tonimilstead5089 I don't believe they've always been corrupt, I do believe the corruption was somewhat balanced between members of both parties, usually they be eventually found out or the voters would lose confidence in them and vote differently, but nowadays many American's don't do the due diligence in research and thinking things through rather voting based on their alignment because they were told that's how they "had" to vote, which has created probably the most corrupt democratic party we've ever seen, are all of them bad? No, I don't believe so just like I don't believe every republican is a good soul, but it definitely feels that way. The Republican party on the other had has probably absorbed more of the level-headed Democrats from their original party; the likes of Tulsi Gabbard is a good example of one such that flipped from the Democratic side to the Republican side, smart woman who's also serving our country. Honestly If we were to have a first woman president, she'd be the one I'd want to endorse.
