- I finally got around to make a Grindeldore edit using this music from Calum Scott which, frankly, seems like it was written for them. I must say that I’m not 100% satisfied with the editing of this video tho. I’ll definitely try to do something better once more footage from the movie will be released! As always, don’t forget to watch the video in HD.

Dumbledore teach Harry many lesson about why is love so important, but he had the saddest relationship in entire saga 😭
I think u can say in the entire world, I have never cried for one like I did for them, it was just more than I would ever be able to take, it keeps you wondering how had dumbledore did for a 100 year and more because I couldn't for 2 minutes, I was crying while watching every time
Their relationship is more tragic than the whole entire Harry Potter story

When Albus was watching the restaurant in the ending, it was so sad it feels like he was thinking "It could have been us" 😭 so fuckin tragic

We all know, that what Dumbledore sees in the mirror of Erised isn’t him being gifted socks. We all know, that it is him and Grindelwald.
My personal headcannon is the socks are part of the image. It's him with his brother, sister, and Grindelwald on Christmas morning with his husband giving him socks because he knows Dumbledore feet always get cold at night.

seriously, so well done, the tragic ending of this love story is making me crazy, after watching the movie I can't think of nothing else - Mads and Jude have incredible chemistry that tbh I wasn't expecting at all??? they did so well, I'm really glad they chose Mads.

I’m so happy that you like it 🧡 and I can only agree! These two make the perfect pair and you can clearly tell that they tried their best to show the conflict within both characters and the love that there’s still between them. It’s really appreciable to see actors put their hearts into a role.
Johnny Depp has been treated unfairly by WB (and the rest of the world, frankly) and the reasons why they literally fired him are unjustifiable but I must admit that I prefer Mads’ interpretation of Grindelwald. That’s just a personal preference but I feel like he brought a more "serious/ solemn" (sort of) dimension to the character that was much needed. Johnny’s interpretation was a bit more theatral, I’d say. It wasn’t bad at all but that’s not how I imagined Grindelwald.

This was the same thing I thought about Mads and Depp. Mads and jude law did a very commendable job. Honestly, they both look so amazing together. According to me, the way Mads puts the essence of romance in his acting and the way he(Grindelwald) showed his love towards Dumbledore was soooooo amazing and I think, I wasn't expecting this affection from Jhonny Depp. He is a really good actor (without any doubt) but he has a more villain like personality with no sort of love and attachment.

loved the moviee so much, Jude did such an amazing job portraying Albus , the way he talked, the way he carried himself with knowledge of how powerful he was but also with carefulness... this was by far favourite of these 3 movies, it felt really special to get to see him interact with his brother, seeing the friendship of Minerva and Albus in early times , hearing them talk about Ariana... i was so happy when i left the cinema, movies really make our lifes richer

I loved these movies. They showed Dumbledore and all these figures in the HP world as real people who had real struggles and heartbreak. They are the pillars of wizarding history, but they were broken in their journey.
God I wish there could be an happy end to their story. But we know how it ends. We know. And I wish we didn’t.

The only thing that keeps me from crying is that I read that Grindelwald didn't tell Lord Voldemort who the Elder wand had. So in my heart he protected Dumbledore in the end.
And my heart tells me they will see each other in dead again.

I swear the only reason Gellert is so determined to change the muggles is because Wizards are more excepting of differences. Maybe not with blood but with romance no one seems to care. The muggles barely acknowledge relationships like this back then. He only wanted to be with Albus and I stand by that.

Hey, frankly I think that you meant no harm by commenting that but saying "I’m not really into gay couples" isn’t something tolerable. You wouldn’t make such comments on straight relationships, right? So you shouldn’t make them on same-sex relationships either. Sexual orientation isn’t something that you can have an opinion on. Yes as I said I don’t think that they were trying to sound homophobic at all, but to me it’s still a form of internalized homophobia. No one would say smth like "I’m not really into straight couples" bc it sounds foolish so why would it be okay to say "I’m not really into /same-sex/ couples"? I believe that it’s important to remind ourselves that there’s no opinion to have on such matters

Actually, there are no rules when it comes to sexual/ romantic orientation and heterosexuality cannot be considered as a "norm". That quote from Yuval Noah Harari (excellent author, I can only recommend you his books) says it all: "Biology enables, culture forbids. Whatever is possible by definition is also natural. A truly unnatural behavior, one that goes against true laws of nature, simply cannot exist".
But if you don’t want to be confronted with something that is completely natural, it’s fine. No one is forcing you to watch the video
