- Hey guys, we finally got a billet 3tc intake in for our in house 80 corolla build. Took some time to get made but they are finally in. We also got a big port 4ag intake manifold in for a customers turbo build.

I love people who know how to make hp with old engines. I have a 2004 Golf with the 115 hp sohc 2.0. I would love to install a 160 hp cam.
Thank you! Appreciate that.
These two intake manifolds are good for Naturally Aspirated. But for Forced Induction in Transient Response Flow, you will have the first runner nearest the throttle body undergo negative pressure while the last runner will have the most pressure. This will cause the last runner to run the most lean in Transient Response flow. Too lean will cause detonation. These two plenums need to be redesigned for equal flow purposes. There are multiple option designs that will mitigate against unequal flow during transient response. During Steady State Response, all four runners will have equal flow on your intake manifold designs. The damage to the engine is usually caused in the Transient Flow State.
Primarily the throttle body location should be in the middle of the plenum if you want to keep it simple especially for a four cylinder. That way you don’t have that “lean out” condition during transit response, the OEMs have done this for years in their production TC vehicles with exception to some doing it a bit differently because of fitment constraints. In his defense I don’t recall him mentioning using it for turbocharged applications?
Actually yes they will both be for turbocharged applications. Unfortunately with space constraints we don't always have the luxury of designing the intakes perfectly. Also we run standalone ecus where if we do see a cylinder go lean we can adjust fuel in that cylinder.
That’s a beautiful piece and I like the red anodization on the Plenum! Awesome look! Honestly if my Corolla was Super Street weekend warrior. I would leave it just the way it is or maybe just golf ball divot on the latter part of the port. It wouldn’t be a porting, so to speak but it would reduce the surface area and increase air flow via the little pockets grabbing air and creating a better surface tension or cushion of air. Air moves over air much better then over a smooth high polished surface. Hence that’s why golf balls are so aerodynamic! Because a ball isn’t the most aerodynamic shape moving through the air. The golf ball like divots work great on most surfaces but it’s better on round and cylindrical surfaces like tubes aka ports. There was also an episode on MythBusters that proved the concept viable.
Seen the golf ball style porting many times. Really cool
Tight work fam❤!
Thanks bro
Mano both intakes look 💯....looks like both plenums are interchangeable are they ?....cause I like the black one the shape of the plenum is cone shaped the 3tc one looks like a box like shaped..... considering all is in the experimental stage something to thing about... I'll be tuning in as always.....🙂👍🙏
Thanks bro, appreciate the input
Good video
Thanks
I have 4age engine what is the best piston I should run in it 4 turbo charged
You can email us and we can get you setup psiracing@aol.com
Wow, super duper nice. Congrats for making that connection to get it done!!!😠🫢👍
Thanks bro, keeping the old school alive
I need this
Letsss gooooo
Where do you sell your products? I tried going to the PSI racing website and it doesn't work
You can email us at psiracing@aol.com or can DM us on Instagram or Facebook. We hope to have the website organized by the beginning of the year
How much? Coil or distributor.
We make them short if no distributor or longer with a distributor
Omg😊
🙌🏼🙌🏼
LOLA ❤
Always video bombing
Is 2t the same?
Yes, 2T and 3T same intake pattern
💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽🔥🔥🔥🔥🇵🇷🙏🏼❤️
Eppppaaa!! 🙌🏼🙌🏼
How much for the bullet intake
Long runner is $1350
3SGTE version please!
What gen style head are you looking for?
@@psiracing
Thanks for replying! Its a rev3 head from a 1995 JDM 3SGTE (bolted to a late 5S block). I'm UK based so not totally sure what "gen" that relates to...sorry!
@@AshleyAinsworth yea can get confusing, is it a oval intake port or more square??
How Much $$$
For a distributor motor or coil packs??
