There are indeed two different pinouts for these. I always test before I send any out and make sure to put the appropriate diagram on the instructions I provide. I also do use a 1.2K-ohm pull up resistor with these.

Haha go for it! As long as the speeduino has the coding to interpret the square wave trigger off the cam sync (which is single tooth) then this should work out for you just fine :)

I switched from the msd 6al2 programmable to a nodiz a while ago and that only really needed a crank trigger. I really wanted a computer that gave me full sequential ignition and fuel for efi later. The issue there is you need a cam sync sensor and we never really got a cam sync upgrade from anywhere. So here I am making one lol and sharing it with the world

Hey nice to see you again! And yup! I figured it out but couldn’t readily order them so I found the us cars that had it. Now I have 3 lol. As for plugs I’m using ngk heat range 7 plugs.
The sensor does not have to be mounted like mine and can indeed be rotated out 180deg. From the time of filming this to now the sensor is rotated 63deg clockwise from what you see in the vid. It’s depends highly on the ecu and the orientation of the crank trigger. The cam sync has to “hit” in between cyl1 TDC events.
Great info. What did you do about the injector circuit, since looks like you are using carbs? i.e did you have to wire in resistors to replace injectors?
to be honest I quite simply ignored it. The ecu thinks it's actuating injectors but it's not doing a thing mechanically. Just taped off the wires so they wouldn't touch and removed all the fueling safeties and disabled the fuel trim. That's it :)

Ofcourse man. So my trigger wheel is a 6” electromotive 60-2 generic trigger wheel. I put long screws through the back of the balancer to threaded spacers. The trigger wheel is drilled out to that pattern and then bolted on. I’m going to be making my own stand in the future out of carbon fiber reinforced thermo plastics that will weigh almost nothing and be tough enough for many years of abuse.

I know a guy in Florida that can help you, well if you pay him to do it he can install a fuel injection setup with 45 or 50mm individual throttle body setup just like your DCOEs. I’m making this suggestion to the dude that is commenting about fuel injection.😊

If the oem ecu uses a single tooth pattern for camshaft position then yes this could work. Not all teeth are equal however. Some take a skinny single tooth, others a thicker tooth, and some a half moon. Then there’s also window type triggers which are essentially the inverse of single tooth and such produce the same signal but in an inverse way.
at the current moment I do not believe it does as they use different distributors in different locations. If a 2tg dizzy fits an 18rg then this will indeed fit no problem.

How did you make your brake master cylinder smaller? The stock one is way to protruding.
It's a chasebays Ae86 brake booster elimination kit. Got it with the prop valve and 3an brake lines to clean everything up. Bolts right in no problem
