Holy shit bro what a collection!
If u was a kid in the early 90s or mid 90s these bikes was the shizznit if you left yo Bmx or Dino outside it would of got stolen quick
And i was that kid that woulda stole it too 😂 i had so many different bikes stripped down in these woods behind my house when i was 12
My dyno compe 1 got stolen off my front porch white and black!
True man my dad told me a story about his. and it was during the 80s in philippines wich was the days if you had the chance people would steal it
@@eez3628 That’s sad
@@johnmatthews5321mine too, same thing 😢
Prices are crazy no way a gt seat is $900 come on yo
Old school classics mane
Ran across this video. When I heard those prices for the parts and if that's what he paid for those parts.....Awwww Hell Nawwwww.
I give him props for his builds...🔥🔥🔥🔥 Freestyles. Just what he paid is crazy insane. I can get those parts for dirt cheap NOS
Beautiful collection! I love old GT BMX bikes. I had either an '83 or '84 GT Pro (race, not freestyle) with white Skyway mags, 3 piece Sugino cranks, compact Diamond Back handlebars, Mushroom grips with Donuts, layback seatpost, Suntour Beartrap pedals, Kashimax saddle, blue Comp 3 tires, and I think the rest was stock. Loved that bike SO much! Ended up giving it to my little brother that lived states away when I was more into skateboarding.
Mad props to you bro. Beautiful collection. Same story for alot of us. My parents couldn't afford to buy me a new GT back in the 80s so me n my bro had to go check out the Recycler wich was a news paper where people sold all their junk. I would always find GTs for as low as $50 complete. I have been collecting , building and selling GTs since 1987. My favorite ones to build are the 87 Pro Freestyle Tours. I used to sell the P.F.Ts for around $1500 nowadays I sell them for around $4k and people are buying them. Lol keep up the great work.👍👌😎 this addiction is no joke.😁
I can the addiction. I shot this video and been looking to get a old GT Myself.
@@KandyonChromeI'm 48 & just got back into BMX, so bought myself now, what my parents couldn't afford in Chicago! 💯
I got a nice $1,700 2020 Sunday EX, crazy to think it's a expensive as my ebikes were stock! 😆
WoW!!..me and my friends use to go to the bike shop just to stare at these bikes hoping to have one,one day
Nice collection Bro
HS the World tour was my dream bike back in the day. I'm floored man that all of these are pro world tours! Amazing collection man
Amazing bike collection as a young kid a was blessed enough to have a gt performer stamped I want one now but big boy 26'
80's GT is Life
Straight classics
80's baby shit
I don’t remember running the bash guards in the 80s.
Because you didn’t lol they came in the 90s
Maybe not but it's a good idea to protect your pride and joys.
Man!! I wanted one of these so bad back in the day my parents couldn't afford it. Great Memories.💯💯
Yea... Me too lol
Hi, I'm french, nice collection, beautifull, I'm falling in love for the bmx gt and dyno, I'm jealous of you, you have got my favorite bmx, lucky dude!
Sick bro. '86 is when the movie RAD came out 🤙
Awesome collection, bro!
damn I had a baby blue Pro Performer when I was 12... 1986..wish I never would sold it. Coolest looking bikes ever made.
Sweeeet collection my man!!
Bad ass collection man.
Dope!! I still got my 96 dyno Air wit the 3 blade GT mag wheels.
Their called fan mags
I had a late 90's/early 2,000's Air with the stellar mag wheels. Those mags were wack, so I got rid of them not long after purchasing the bike. Sad to say, I no longer have the bike because of a run in I had with the Police that used their car to ruin the front end of my bike by cutting me off while I was hauling ass down the South Conduit in Queens, NY. Someone thought I stole my bike from a kid, then shit went left for an innocent man just having a good time on his bike that was purchased from a bike store.
@@fredrikrasmussen8613 They are ACS Stellar wheels.
bro that is a such a dope collection, daaaaamn
I remember that baby blue bike. GT was the primo shit back in the day. Them and Haro.
I had a Chrome 85-86 GT world tour back in the day. It was ordered with red plastic star wheels
Bro that collection is fire I’m looking for my GT and Haro as a kid from hot wheels to bikes then cars / trucks it’s crazy how much we will spend to relive our childhood even for a few minutes and I’m only 31 lol
😂😂 sound like we had the same childhood and I’m only 20 this year haha
DOPE COLLECTION.. EVERYTHING NICE...
I had the GT world tore back in 1986 and the muck one miss them days.
I was literally just talking to my brother-in-law about my bmx days and how the bikes are worth so much now. Sick collection Freddy. I want my all time favorite the Hutch they going for 3k it’s crazy. Love it
I want a 85 Trick Star, the same bike I had as a kid from saving every penny delivering papers as a young kid
this is a great video... happy to see your vision isn't limited... sprinkling in some bike videos ever now n then is a good move !!! peace bro
Brother those are beautiful! You literally just sent me back to the 80s. Respect.
Friggin dope collection
I'm 37 and always wanted a 90's Dyno BMX bike growing up, I never had the funds for one, but I may (fingers cross) get one hopefully by next summer if the prices are fair.

When I was a teenager I rode my bicycle all over town to school to work and With Friends to go from place to place my averaged over 100 miles a week and didn't know it at the time. I had a adult class to attend it was there that my bicycle was stolen I was 17 years old. My bicycle was my only form of transportation it was literally a part of me an extension of my feet to get me around. I was very depressed took me a long time to gather up parts that would be able to withstand the riding I was doing it was a gifted bike to me cycle pro 20-in BMX bike. Several years later after some really deep thinking on what to do about that part of my life that was missing after some specialized training I acquired a 3-year certificate for auto body repair work. Many years into that occupation again the memory of my bicycle taken from me came into my thought again this time it did I had some spending money to explore what was available in the BMX bicycle world. I got very serious about it and thought to myself if I was going to get another BMX bicycle it would be better than the one that thief had taken away from me. To me that was not going to be easy. So I visited a few bicycle shops told them what I was doing and wanted to do. Finally I came across a shop that explain to me a company that offered a specialized heavy duty frame for tall people like myself and was designed to hold more weight. And the shop owner assured me this frame and fork would be nearly unbreakable and if I did ever break it to bring it back and they would replace it. No questions asked just the frame and fork were considerable amount of money at the time several hundred dollars the frame was a SE XL assassin. It was all Chrome plated with a special design I had never seen it in my life till the first time the dealer had showed it to me I agreed to purchase it then it was all about the rims for it the shop had some very nice heavy duty rims 48 spokes King style name brand I purchased them also at the time and still had a long ways to go for parts I made my purchase of forks frame and wheels then it took me about a year to meticulously look over parts and finally come up with the parts that I wanted on my bike and all that time to have the money to pay for it all I believe at the time the total was $1,700 for everything it was over the budget I imagined but still respectable and I knew this was the bike that was built more better then the one that was stolen from me so if the thief ever seen me riding my new bike he could watch but not touch that was good enough for me whoever the thief was he didn't have the better bike I assure you I did. That's my story sincerely

Nice collection, I didn’t know the World Tours came in all of those colors. I only knew about the blue, and pink.
In 1987 I paid for my first and only GT, Pro Preformer..... I still have it all original and it is a, "Survivor. "
Sweet !
I had the Blue one and now I want it again
Well, makes me appreciate my GT Pro Performer in chrome a lot more. Even though we got it in 86, i think mine is a 85 since it has the the Straight 6 poke mags from Skyway.
Are the seats NOS. I love the lime green. Do you ride at all. All of mine are sweaty and ride them all. I feel like if i redo them i take away from the bikes history
I’m def jealous! Great GT collection! 🤟
Classic really reminds me of the old days
My big cousins had two just like the sky blue joint these are the REAL DEAL BMX BIKES that he has these are super nice nothing like old skool items anything retro is hot commodity.... Thanks for this footage KANDY-ON-CHROME... 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
Thanks.. Starting to bring a variety of content to the show.
Love the collection but the bashgaurds are late 80s. I see Repop GT tires, I see Repop $50 mallet stem, I see Repop cables and gyro sets. Pedals are all bare trap. SR MP 474 or 470 would be correct.
Also Original means Original. Nothing repowdercoated.
NOS “ new old stock”
Great collection tho.
Not all Og tho. Just a lot of $$$ online.
Just bought a pair of NOS blue anodized SR MP-470s for my 84 GTPP they cost me $200.
These bikes we're like the Rolls-Royce of the '90s bike scene!
Solid collection! The Black front rim is mounted backwards if I'm not mistaken. The blades should match the rear wheel configuration.
BMX Baller 🔥
Sick love it
I still have my GT Bump D ....all stock.....hell...even got the GT tires
That's a serious collection back in the days that was better than a car in my Hood Haro,GT or a Mongoose!!!
Nicely
You should do an all white bike. I remember having my all white everything, and rolling up to the meets, that bike stood out like a soar thumb because everyone had chrome, silver, red, green, black. Then i showed up with an all white everything, was like a white cloud ☁️. Also my bike had no stickers to make that white pop.
Excellent.
I had an 86 mongoose California, in December 85.
And....I had a gt bmx pro I got in April 85 for $75! It was an 82.
Sold them 10 years ago.......real cheap. 750, and 850
Thats crazy
i personally like the 87-88 GT Performers
Straight 100" Classy!!!
Had all the dope old schools growing up still got a dope Fleet 💪🏽‼️
Look how salty jealous i am..
"Boo..them things are sorry,it's all about my MAGNA!".
😅👍🏽
Dude over paying for sure
I have the blue 86 pro performer. I wish I had kept the fold down fork pegs and rear standers thought. Is it possible to still get them?
Yes, but prices went up since there are a lot more collectors now. It is better to buy them used and all scratched up and get them powder coated or just paint them yourself.
These bikes were 500 each in 86 87 , crazy money now
What a surprise Lance! Gary Turner and Rich Long would be proud to see this video. I have a 77 GT Pedals Ready and many others Lance. Robert from Toronto. What is your email Lance?
Wow man you got some rad GT’s bro 😎 labour of love for nice clean bad ass bikes , I’ve been at it for yrs with eBay and the museum and even my local shops , my collection is all Hoffman bikes 93- 03 , my rider is an black 2003 pro team condor 42 lbs bomber 💣
Once again your versatility is on point
Thanks... Always looking for unique content.
Watching from 🏴 loving those builds man, done an 85 in ribbon blue, parts prices are becoming mental 🙄 keep up the quality bikes mate
gt was nice but tha redline bike was hard
Save me the green one
B 4 the cars 🚗
Damn they are dope AF
Are the two white front wheels on backwards?
Where can you get the bashguards? I can't find them anywhere. Also, did you have the cut the tube spacer shorter when installing the spindle and bearings?
Now I wanna do my 86 Maui to green
I’d like to show you my old chrome GT it’s pristine and never being accessorized. With the awesome spoke rims
Send us some footage or we can film it if your in south florida?
Nice bikes but I can never understand not riding them. It’s like not fcukin your girl cause you want to keep her fresh for the next guy. 😂
At 4:58 minutes, what's that green rubber/plastic thing that's covering the sealed bearing case on the side of the left crank?
It's a dust guard so the grease in the cranks would remain clean longer. Not everybody had sealed bearings then. They were pricey. I bought some sealed bearings in 1987 for my GT Pro Performer for $50.Before the sealed bearings we'd have to clean the bearings and repack them with grease. Those plastic rubber covers made it so we didn't have to re-grease them as frequently.
Hey man my uncle has a a huge garage filled with bmx bikes he's collected over the past 30 year's from trash dump sites and bikes from side if the road thrown away but it's at least 300 maybe more but I can take a picture of them and send you a photo and there are plenty of bikes from the 70s and 80s from banana seat bikes to bmx and theres even some where it has this round plastic cover that goes over the spoke rims.
Dude if you gave 2,500 for those and put more into them you’re nuts ! I can get any of those for 1,800
yeah... he is smoking crack for sure! even if mint? maybe $3000?!? maybe the white one for $3000, cuz you never see em four sale. I didn't know they came that way. I have a 2020 Bob Haro 26 freestyle I currently have $4500-$5000 in it.... never sell unless I get every dollar I put into it.
You’re not getting any of those bikes in that condition for $1800 if you can get me some.
If its Ok may I ask how tall you are? I'm 6'0ft could someone my height ride one of these BMX bikes.
Why bash guards on every one? They don't really belong on any of those GT's since they weren't even made until 89ish.
Hey dudes love your GTs! Wow. This is an old video so I hope you still claim ownership and they doing well. I jus picked up a 1984 GT Pro (I think) can anybody tell me how to tell the difference between GT Pro and GT Pro series? The serial number has a (4) at the bottom of the drop out. I'm pretty excited to start building it up. Anything hopes. Thank you
Quero Comprar uma Extra Nylon, quem vende ainda dela ?!
I should hook you up with my boy Paul!!! Hes got SOOOOOOO MUCH stuff in his house all rare bike related. Redlines, s&e, gt, dyno, haro... All the names. Hes invested soooooo much into them. At the right time when n.o.s was cheaper. And more available. Years ago. Hes been doin it a long time. Lmk if you wanna connect with him. Were in upstate ny.
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Sick collection man!! I've been collecting for almost 20 years. GT, Dyno, Robinson, Powerlite, and Auburn....which were all the same company in the 90s. I'm 32, so most of my collection is 90s GTs, clothing, media, signs, parts, and accessories! Myself and 3 others guys run a group on Facebook with 18k members. We buy/sell/showoff and everything in between there. It's called GT BMX OWNERS GROUP, you should definitely join us. I own the local bicycle shop here in St. Louis, Missouri...feel free to check some out. I was into doing shows, so a have a bunch of my carpet queens, my soft spot is for chrome bikes lol. Thanks for the video!
Thanks. Im going to join your group. I want to get one of these bikes now too
@@KandyonChrome I pmed you as well, on fb...feel free to reach out to me with questions.
Repop Tech77 levers as well I see
Back then them bikes was like 80 bucks or more now 50k damn I wish I kept them back them
its all free style, theres no racing. Did they have Mach Ones and Speed Series in the 80s?
👏👏👏
If you ever find for 16 inches let me know please
U have to build urselfva 16 inch gt or dyno ditty
Where’s the GT super laces? Skyways are cheap.
A lot of repop parts. There's a lot of collectors that wouldn't touch these because of the reproduced sticker packs and white paint on everything
ผมมีอยู่1คันอยู่ประเทศไทย
nothing on these bikes are worth the $3 to $4000 you put in extra on top of your $1700 to $2500 if you did you got ripped off. been collecting and building since 1992 been riding since 1988.
Freestyle bikes, cost a lot of money. I have one posted on Facebook marketplace $1500 cash money.
👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼🤩‼️🔝🇧🇷
They’re nice to know, but they are not original most of the parts. He cuts on that are fake from China as most of the GT items are not that well detailed.
Delusional.
What dose NOS. MeAn
New Old Stock -- meaning original parts.
What pedals are on those
