You and Mello should 100 percent check out another Adam Sandler movie...top choice would probably be 50 First Dates, but I think Big Daddy would also be to see a react to. 💯✌
For continuity´s sake, you should try Little Nicky next. I know, Adam Sandler made a fool of himself in that, similar to The Waterboy, which I couldn´t stand, but literally EVERYONE and EVERYTHING else in the movie is great!
*What do you guys think of longer videos like this?!? Normally don't make em as long, but with 2 people talking seems like we talk A LOT, and hard to cut stuff off!*
Personally I love longer videos just because it’s more time with my fav youtubers haha
Longer videos are always better! When I first started watching movie reactions I noticed they were all at 30 mins. I thought for awhile that was a RUclips rule it couldn’t be longer than that. I still don’t know the rules, only copyright for songs and full length vids. But the longer the video I think is better!
Love it
I enjoyed it 👍
First off tell Mello that Bob Barker is still alive!! Lol and i enjoy longer vids!! The best parts show up more on longer vids
Bob Barker is actually not dead. He is currently 97. He is also a black belt who was trained by Chuck Norris and did almost all his own stunts in this movie.
Bob just celebrated his 99th birthday, hope he makes it to 100!
@@blacksunday4231 his birthday isn't actually til the 23rd.
@@johnsmith5922 Born December 12, 1923. There's even a Yahoo article about him celebrating his 99th bday
Yeah when Mel said that I was like I swear he was alive last year 😂 and he still is what a guy hope he sees 100 aswell
Everybody can make mistake john smith. I didnt know he was still alive
Richard Kiel, the actor who plays Mr Larson, was in a bad car accident that left him unable to walk properly without a cane. So if you notice, in every scene he's leaning on something or has his hand on someone's shoulder for support. When he's "running" at the end of the movie, he's actually just waving his arms and they're not filming his lower half. Super nice guy and a real shame he was in so much pain after that accident.
He portrayed the villain Jaws in the old Bond flicks too
My grandmother actually lived on the same street his sister did
that or it was someone else, though she said it was him
She said he was really nice and that she's sad he passed away
He does seem like a great guy
My grandmother actually lived on the same street his sister did
that or it was someone else, though she said it was him
She said he was really nice and that she's sad he passed away
He does seem like a great guy
But if you notice that Mr Lawson is the only person to take Happy. Everyone Happy easily overpowers and yet Mr Lawson put him in the hospital. And then beat up Shooter at the end
"You're gonna die, clown!" is one of my favorite lines.
Great collaboration. Watching a comedy with another person, especially someone as *Sexy* as Meloman, is a great idea.
agree with ya
33:03 he knows Bob Barker is still alive and well, right? 😂
i was about to post this too. 97 and still spaying and neutering our pets!
Yes!!! I had to stop the video to look it up LOL 😂
I was like hold up wait a minute did he die and I’m glad to see he did not.
He probably confused him with alex trebek since both were gameshow host
With this and Tim Curry before, I can't take these heart attacks XD
This came out when I was 10 and I was a hockey player in the winter and a golfer in the Summer, so this was perfect for a kid like me. However, I would have a hard time choosing my favourite Sandler comedy between Gilmore and Madison. He doesn't do it often but he has put in some amazing dramatic performances in Punch Drunk Love and Uncut Gems. Hard to pick a favourite as his comedy and dramatic performances scratch very different itches.
Don't forget Funny People! He can definitely hold his own as a dramatic actor
The guy with the nail in the head was JAWS from 007, he’s the only minion I believe to be in more than one film and the dude was like a terminator and never died.
Also cannonball run 2
And The Twilight Zone episode To Serve Man. A classic. 😍
Odd job was in a few different one. I think.
@@pnjpalmertree8678 he was only in Goldfinger as a bond henchman. He was however in Austin Powers named Random Task (reword of Odd Job) where he threw a show instead of a hat. Also the Golden Eye video game
He was the only minion to have an arc and save Bond in a film.
Happy Gilmore was my favorite movie when I was young. I watched it every time I was at my aunt and uncle's house (they owned it, I didn't). I quoted "YOU'RE GOING TO DIE CLOWN" a whole lot!
Please watch "National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation"!
Please watch "Harry and the Hendersons" (1987)! One of my favorite childhood movies.
You guys are real fun to watch! A lot of reactors can’t pull off having someone on with them. You both always nail it! Today’s pretty difficult for me, this helped me feel better🙏🏼 I appreciate ya man🙏🏼 I hope you’re having a great day Tim!
Some of the multiple viewer reactions consist of a guy who has seen it coaching his female companion. Good to avoid.
If you haven't watched Ben Stiller vs Vince Vaughn in Dodgeball, you should.
Great collaboration reaction! I've been waiting for this one all week! 😊
This is one of my favorite Adam Sandler movies.
Happy Thanksgiving tim
Happy Thanksgiving. Thankful for your reactions dude
33:04 Rest in Peace? Bob Barker is still alive! He's 97!
to be fair, I always think he died too lol I think it's because Drew Carey took over the Price is Right so because I don't see him anymore, I kept thinking he died. but you're right, he just retired. that Mandela Effect is strong lol
I have always loved Mr. Deeds. Billy Madison is probably my favorite. But Mr. Deeds holds a special place in my heart.
This movie was a focal point of my childhood. Its the only movie that I could not watch ever again (I will) and I'd still remember every scene.
61% critic score/ 85% audience score
I never pay attention to the critic score, they’re all paid-off clowns.
The line about Chubbs not playing football is sort of an inside joke. Before he became an actor, Carl Weathers was a pro linebacker, playing for the NFL's Oakland Raiders for one year and the CFL's BC Lions for two years.
Thank you @TimotheeReacts and @MelVerse for this awesome reaction, it was very entertaining and very funny, keep up the great work guys and I can’t wait to see more Future reactions from both of you!
YYYYY DID U SKIP CHUBBS SINGING, a beautiful moment
Smh
Funny tidbit: the guy who plays the homeless guy plays in the Happy Madison flick Grandma's Boy. Adam Sandler always hooks his buddies up. Always been a big part of why I like him. But yea, this one's a childhood favorite for me. Came out when I was 10 and had me ROLLING. And it still does to this day. Not a lot of movies I can say that about. Modern-day classic for sure. That Bob Barker fight never gets old. lol
Here's a movie I haven't seen anyone do, and it's pretty funny. 1971. Cold Turkey. It's a movie about a town that has to give up smoking cigarettes for a month to win a big prize. It is seriously funny. I also recommend Clue (1985).
This is a 90s movie, that's for sure.
I watch this movie with my grandpa and my uncle. We laugh together and we had a good time in 1996
Best lines: "And you can count on me waiting for you in the parking lot" LOL!!!
Lee Trevino cracks me up every time LOL
Julie Bowen is STILL extra gorgeous today
Also, Bob Barker isn't dead lol, he's 97.
The homeless caddy guy is Allen Covert, who is in a lot of Adam Sandler's films along with Peter Dante (Allen was the main character in Grandma's Boy). Adam's SNL buddies are in his movies a lot too like Kevin Nealon and David Spade
Dude Bob Barker is still alive😂
Happy and Shooter did a 25 year reunion video.
"Any of you ever try to put me in a home I will cut you all out of the will... and then I'll probably try to cut *you!"* -My Dad (circa 2008)
Happy Gilmore’s been my favorite since it came out. Saw it in the theater & everyone laughed the whole movie. Everyone. We all came out in the best mood. Happy AF.
Great collab! Are you going to check out more Adam Sandler? How about Waterboy or Little Nicky?
13:11 makes me laugh every time! 😂😂😂
Do you think Chubbs losing his arm to a "lizard" was a "in joke" about Carl Weathers character losing his arm to The Predator?
In Predator, Dillion (Weathers), when listening to Anna say the "Jungle, it came alive and took him", and something about it changing colours like the Chameleon, he asks her "Are you saying Hawkins was killed by a fucking lizard? No, there's 2 or 3 men out there, tops."
That scene with Bob Barker, it was really him throwing & landing those punches. No stunt double was used also he's still alive
Bob barkers not dead 😂
lmao!!!! Came here to say this. Actually laughed so hard...
Adam Sandler is just underappreciated and over appreciated. His movies are just fun, mindless, dirty/cheap humor. I could even go and compare him to Michael Bay for mindless and fun action.
Oh man how this is amazing because this is one of my favorite comedies and just a classic.
A fun classic! It even funnier with you guys. Haha
Bob Barker isn't dead. He's just been retired for fourteen years.
Also, those moves he did on Adam Sandler were epic. I guess the karate lessons he received from Chuck Norris years beforehand were finally paying off.
After watching ya'll hangout and chat while doing that 24 hour charity stream, I appreciate this collab so much more!
Happy Holidays to you and Mellverse. Love you both. Thank you for the reactions ❤️
Cheesy
16:48 I haven't checked but I'm going to guess this is something like a spidercam. Like the camera's on a zip line, then just paint out the cable in post. A helicopter would be blowing around the trees and grass too much.
Can we get Little Nicky with you guys soon? 🤣
(12:25) Happy's reaction to Chubbs showing his prosthetic hand due to an alligator biting it off had me laughing my guts out!
Yeah, I witnessed the downfall of Adam Sandler, but that doesn´t mean that some of his movies like this, Big Daddy, The Wedding Singer, Just Go With It or Little Nicky aren´t still cult classics imo....
Happy Gilmore acting like he's from my neighbourhood in Queens everytime when gets angry
When Bob Barker was young he served in the military. Nice to know he didn't let his fist rust. I grew up watching the price is right and I didn't know about Bob Barker served until years later.
It’s rated low critically because Adam Sandlers style for a long while was offensive to “professional” critics. They take movies very seriously and don’t typically factor “fun” into it because it’s not objective. Adam Sandler movies in general are a lot of fun and let you relax but pretty surface level. The idea of a movie without crazy subtext where you just enjoy the ride isn’t generally viewed well by “serious” movie critics
Adam Sandler did a show at my college back in 1997 and roasted me for not having a date. I was sitting in the front row with my arm draped over the empty seat next to me. 🥲😂🤣🤣
You gotta watch the ringer with jonny knocksville in it, That's my boy, Four lions, A prayer before dawn it's based on a true story, rise of the Foot soilder, Avengement and con air
Happy’s boss (nail in the head) has been in a couple of Bond movies as the hitman/henchman “Jaws” with metal teeth. He had maybe one line in those two movies. His name was Richard Kiel (RIP)
The woman telling Happy to behave is Julie Bowen from Modern Family
Yesss man! One of my all times😂
Adam Sandler's best imo
Sandler's best movie I think but Billy Madison is close 2nd
The fact that nursing homes are such a bad place to live infuriates me if i ever opened one it would be the nicest sweetest place ever and id make the orderlies wear vest cams like they do to some cops our elderly should not be treated wrong expecially because some dont have the ability to report the wrong doing they shouldn't have too i have a friend who worked in a home before in another country and the stories i heard are unforgivable our elderly need to be respected and have great golden years if im ever rich ill change that whole system i guarantee it you dont have a working vest cam when you working with an elderly you arent interacting with them elderly abuse is about equally as bad as child abuse
This is one of my favorite golf movies ever. I like to play a little golf myself but I sure would like to have a Happy Gilmore’s drive
Any chance you and Mel are planning to watch Caddyshack together? Another golf movie with an outstanding cast and a classic movie in it's own right.
Water boy is another Adam Sandler movie about sports and there's one called the longest yard, it's more serious than his other movies
wanna see chubs again? watch another adam sandler classic of, little nicky.
me and my buddies were to a house party years ago when people put this movie in the VCR, I think it was about 1 year after the movie came out in the cinemas. it was late at night we had been drinking obviously but we all had just gotten high on weed about 20 min earlier. All I remember is laughing for so long and hard with them that it seemed like we missed 90 percent of the movie because one scene alone would have us all to the point of no sound coming out of our mouths for 20 min at a time. It is in the top 3 moments of my life for the hardest and longest I had ever laughed continuously.
Top 10 strongest anime characters: *Bob Barker.*
Yall shouldn't watch the wedding singer it's even better.
Timothee: OK. We gotta work on our emotions a bit
Mell: Nah, fuck that clown, bruh.
I gotta side with Mell on that one.
9:11 My grandmother was in a Mennonite home and they were extremely nice to her.
Lee Trevino should have caught Chubbs, what the hell
Holy shit I was just on a Happy Gilmore reaction binge last night! Now you guys just uploaded this reaction?!
Sweet!
Bob Barker's not dead.
TimotheeReacts and Mellverse in the same reaction?! Is this a CROSSOVER episode?!!! :D
There was a deleted scene where the orderly played by Ben Stiller finally is given a karmic beating by Happy for mistreating his grandma.
Nice video
So we can say from this movie:
Bob Barker>>>>>>Happy Gilmore>>>>>>>Alligator
Yeah, see, Shooter hit the ball ONTO "Frankenstein's fat foot". Whether he meant to or not is irrelevant; he should've gotten a drop and not been forced to hit it off the guy's foot. Especially if there's a chance a patron of the tournament being hurt. But the tower falling in front of Happy was COMPLETELY out of his control, so he shouldn't have been forced to shoot around it.
This is one of the only comedies that alternately has me crying from laughter and happiness throughout the whole runtime. 😂💜
Nah, Waterboy is his best/most known
While this is my favorite Sandler flick, it seems to me that this, & his flick, “Click” are based on other comic properties.
“Click” is too similar to a 1982 Benny Hill sketch, “The Video Machine” (Also on RUclips.). This one is terrific, & Carl (RIP) is terrific! However… The way Happy “whacks” the ball so far, reminds me of Herman Munster technique, in the Munsters episodes, “Herman the Rookie” (A Baseball themed episode), & “Country Club Munster”. (Also on RUclips.)
Of course there are many more differences, & Happy certainly isn’t a Dr. Frankenstein creation, but as nice as he is, he can be rather monstrous.
(While I’m most likely wrong, I believe that it definitely could be possible.)
Lego Movie ?????
oh its coming NEXT WEEK!!
Hilarious movie. I’d suggest the movie Pixels, another good Adam Sandler flick.
My favorite Adam Sandler comedies are this one, 50 first dates and Big Daddy.
Then Reign Over me is pretty good drama with him and Don Cheadle
I didn’t know Baker Mayfield reviewed movies!!! 😂 🤣
I’m definitely going to subscribe!!! You guys are fantastic!

Richard Kiel, who plays Happy’s old boss with the nail in his head, was most famous for playing the giant henchman “Jaws” in two 70’s James Bond movies.

If you haven't seen them yet, I also recommend Billy Madison, The Waterboy, Big Daddy, Mr Deeds and The Longest Yard; Little Nicky, I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry, and Grown Ups are pretty funny as well
For some Serious Adam Sandler roles:Punch-Drunk Love(this like a dark comedy and a weird one),Reign Over Me and Uncut Gems .
You gotta watch that's my boy, Big daddy

check out SLC Punk
Matthew Lillard tells his dad (Shooter) VOLKS VAGEN
"it's just a car!"
Two movies y'all should check out now, are Caddyshack, and Grandma's Boy.
You two have to collab again with another Adam Sandler classic "LITTLE NICKY"...great reaction!!
You have to react to "The Waterboy" easily one of my favorite Sandler movies of all time. A hysterical masterpiece
Happy Gilmore-another favorite classic of mine! I am really enjoying your content! Keep it up!
Glad you enjoy it!
Loved the reaction! You guys HAVE TO SEE Waterboy lol. Best Adam Sandler movie ever
Hey, Timothee, is the Lego Movie Full Patreon reaction live now, or was it pushed back to tomorrow?
Julie Bowen really did look absolutely gorgeous in this
Unfortunately, the government does have the power to take your private property. It's called imminent domain. AKA BS.
RIP Bob Barker 🙏🏻🕊️ he just passed away today. Forever the face of the price is right
When they show the edited version on TV (Or at least when they used to) They added a scene where Happy confronts Ben Stiller's character, and beats him up.
