This film is literally Adam Sandler and his friends on vacation, and I can’t help but enjoy it. Also a little fun fact, this film turned out to be a huge box office hit that Sandler was able to purchase Maseratis for his costars.

I remember PMI saying how Mary-Kate and Ashley were the original Adam Sandler--they did the same things with their direct to VHS/DVD movies where they traveled the world. I can't erase it from my mind now hahahah

Interesting to note: Originally, this film was supposed to be released in the mid-90s with Chris Farley in the role now played by Kevin James. However, since Farley died in 1997, Grown Ups was shelved for over a decade and was finally released when Sandler and his group decided it was time.
Not only that, but Chris Farley was voicing Shrek as a rehearsal before Mike Myers take over his voice.

You should know that the one that played the middle son of Adam Sandler’s character is Cameron Boyce and died in 2019 before the premiere of Descendants 3.

This video is literally the greatest Cinematic crossover in the history of RUclips. Tim, Nick, and Cody in one video is like watching the first Avengers all over again.
For a suggested movie with Kevin James go with Paul Blart: Mall Cop, I think it's definitely one of his best comedy movies.

I’m mixed with Adam Sandler’s movies for the most part, the one’s I like are Happy Gilmore, 50 First Dates, Click (only the second half), and Reign Over Me (my favorite movie with Adam Sandler in it),this one comes close

Fun Facts: The restaurant they go to is one my mom grew up going to with her family and friends. And the Water Park they go to is about 15 minutes from where I went to high school. All filmed in eastern Massachusetts.
I’m happy this film has finally gained a cult following recently, it’s one of Sandler’s funniest films!
I’m so shocked that Grown Ups got a 11% on Rotten Tomatoes. I love this movie, it’s one of my comfort ones 💯
This is the perfect example of how you can't always go by the response from the critics. I have yet to meet anyone (myself included) that didn't love this movie and laugh themselves silly!
@@jeremyevans9521 Exactly. Critics tore "The Boss" (Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Bell) up, but it's the hardest I've ever seen a theater laugh. The Girl Scout fight alone had my kids, nieces, and mom all crying/laughing. I'm waiting for someone to react to that.
it’s almost 90% on audience score, that’s what you should be looking at. critics opinion means nothing in my eyes
I'm also shocked at how low it's rated on IMDB (5.9/10). This movie deserves a 6.5/10 at the very least if you ask me.
If you actually pay attention to RT, you'll realize that it's biased AF, many great movies have gotten shitty RT scores, and the woke B's always gets high scores

Pretty funny they have pretty good chemistry with each other it’s much better than the 2nd also Sandlers kid the one with the curly hair and freckles actually passed away a few years ago

Seeing Chris Rock getting hit by the tree, at 22:00, and getting hit in the head with the ball, at 38:16, made me think that it's more hilarious than getting slapped at the Oscars.
They used to have ziplines like that at American water parks. Now, they're either entirely over the water, or there's an automatic release at a certain point so the person can't hold on too long.

FACTS
I heard this many years ago, but allegedly Rob Schneider didn’t do the sequel because he had pitched a sequel where the families go on a vacation to a house in the mountains to celebrate Christmas and New Year’s. Unfortunately for Rob, nobody else wanted to do it. I haven’t seen it mentioned anywhere since, so it might be a load of crap.
I think it's for the best because this plot sounds like a rehash of the first movie
Grown ups 1 is a movie I feel you would watch when a friend of yours passes away
Grown ups 2 is when summer begins, especially if you watch it when your on your last day of school before summer
This is honestly one of my favorite Adam Sandler movies. The characters remind me a lot of my family.
This movie is hilarious. I am convinced that somebody just decided to follow adam Sandler and his friends around with a camera while they were on vacation. And made it a movie and its freaking hilarious.

I'm a long time Adam Sandler fan he's one of my favorites, not just for his humor, but also the fact that he is a very nice, humble, respectful , and genuine guy. I've met him a few times and the first time was actually when I worked on Grown Ups. Nothing big, just extra work, but the best part was the fact that I got to play some basketball with him a few times. He actually LOVES to play BBall and he's legit really good too! He always has a portable BB Hoop to use on all his movie sets and lets other join in to play as well. He's a great guy, treats everyone on set with equal respect no matter what your job is, and like I said before he’s super friendly down to earth guy. Do you guys plan on watching Grown Ups 2 anytime soon?

You know, Nick and Cody are watching Gravity Falls individually. It's been 10 years since the first episode was premiered. You gotta start watching it, Tim. It's an amazing Disney show with a big mystery element and a lot of humour that goes over people's heads. It's on Disney+ now. And I suggest that you watch 2 episodes in each Gravity Falls reaction video, like how Totally Cody does and how you do it for your reaction for Game Of Thrones.
Here's the Synopsis:
For their summer vacation, 12-year-old twins Dipper and Mabel Pines are dropped off from their home in Piedmont, California, to the town of Gravity Falls, Roadkill County, Oregon, to spend the summer with their great uncle Stan Pines (often shortened to Grunkle Stan), who runs a tourist trap called the "Mystery Shack". After you showed the actors names and the characters names, I just realized that Kevin James plays as “Eric Lamonsoff”; but in the movie “Pixels”. Josh Gad plays “Ludlow Lamonsoff”. They used the same last name in those 2 movies.

First of all great reaction and a great collaboration among my favorite reactors! I would love to see you guys react to its sequel Grown Ups 2. But there are a lot of Adam Sandler movies that he produces and he’s pretty much the same group of actors within. Other Adam Sandler movies I highly recommend are 50 First Dates, Here Comes the Boom, Happy Gilmore, Just Go With It, The Ridculous 6, Home Team, I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry , etc. My absolute favorite line from the movie is said by Salma Hayek, Roxanne. “We are skipping the dinner in Milan, spreading the ashes, and we are leaving first thing Sunday morning.” 😂
I love this movie, love a lot of Adam Sandler movies, especially when he has his comedian friends lined up like this.
