I have an Iphone XR, moment lens, a Hoya NXT Plus CPL Filter and a Hoya NXT HMC-UV Filter. I am shooting a ton of video with my XR. My 2 questions are....1) Is it worth always having the UV filter on as a source of "lens protection"? Since it's a good one, I assume my video will be compromised very little. Thoughts? 2) Should I use both filters together when shooting outside in bright conditions? I assume the UV goes on first, and then the CPL. Your insight is much appreciated. -Bob

thanks for this video.. it helped clarify what a cpl is. I have an iphone X and am looking for a lene accessory system.. I am wondeirng if there is a standard screw mount size for lense accessories. I heard 16mm is a standar diameter screw mountt to attache to a clip on bracket for phones. Does that sound right? I am imagining there is some diameter that has become the defacto univerally used diameter.. thus opening door for being able to invest in additional lenses or box kits that are interchangeblbe.

It depends on the system you use and what its diameter is. There are many different systems out there. And they all differ slightly. I myslef have lens that vary from 37 to 67 mm depending on the camera or phone I use. Check out the links for the Moment Lens in the description area. Good luck. TD

Hi AM Note the image at 1:00 Also depends on how much you use a phone. Personally I tried filming with the phone and other Cameras and I find a Camera is better than a phone You may want to consider a CPL lens for a camera instead but it depends on how your filming too. Good luck TD
