@johnbacani2323 what are you smoking, STI still holds fastest sedan record on Nurburgring at 6:59, it beat the longest sedan record holder CTS-V by almost a minute. Type R has not come close to challenging the sedan record held by STI. But both are badass JDM cars though.
I use Continental DWS06 tires and my grip is very good on the street. I haven found my STI's limit yet. Too scared to push it harder and I see that same thing happening to many people behind the wheel of one. It handles so well, nobody every pushes it to the limit. It feels heavy so you wonder if you will lose control, yet it is grippy.
I have never in my life heard of these lateral performance dampers before. I kinda get the gist of what they do but Lexus seems to be the only source of information out there. Yamaha is pretty limited and I have yet to find out if there are universal versions of these or who would sell such a thing. I can’t see why it would be very expensive so it seems it could be an interesting experiment, especially for those of us that own classic performance vehicles with somewhat unrefined unibodies. I don’t see how this would be a performance addition though. It seems they just mount at the outer end of your frame stubs.
The big problem the sti has is its steering wheel feels almost independent from what the car is actually doing on the ground its the main reason why and many other people dont hit fat drifts with this car

実際、隣と自分ではちょろっと乗っただけのSTIが本当に素直で良く曲がって、GC8辺りの年代からは驚く位低速もリカバリーされてて、FFのシビックにゃ勝ち目は絶対無いと思って見るんだけど、FF好きなので頑張って頂きたいし興味深いバトルではある。
結果的にはやはり…だけど、シビックの出来素晴らしかった。インチダウン効いてそうだし、純正足良いのだなと思いました。進入で後ろが不安定にならずフロントで食って曲がってる感じは時代変わったなと。
一時旋回はシビック、踏み始めるとやはりリア駆動してるSTIだなって思った。良い勝負でした
後日FKシビックRも乗った。素晴らしかった。あの車幅も効いてそう。FFターボ=身構えて乗る車って言う印象は払拭されて、安心して踏んで行けるFFでした。タイプRらしさは変わってないなと思った。乗りやすく速い、飾っておかないで乗ってドライバーが鍛えられる車だなと思いました。

Prodrive製のレーシングカーだし、ただのチューニングカーとはレベルが違うわな
STiチューンは万人受けのスポーツパーツを出して信者からお賽銭箱に入れて貰う経営でProdriveのチューンニングはその名の通りプロ仕様って感じですね。STiの鍛造ホイールは高い割には純正と比べてそこまで軽くないのが毎回残念です。(-人-;)

FFのタイプRがWRXと肩並べるコーナーの速さを持っていることが凄い。

Not equal conditions, tire with is the same 265, but awd allows to use it more efficiently than fwd, civic needs front wider tires to compete with sti
