    how do i remove the gimbal assembly from the gimbal housing assembly?

      There are gimbal pivot screws on the left and right that need to be removed on the housing. Once out, remove the screw at the bottom.

      @@michaelromer2016 on this diagram, www.crowleymarine.com/johnson-evinrude/parts/55333.cfm?mdl=VZOG47, im trying to remove #45 with #77 the pivot housing connected as one. i have the trim lines disconnected, shift cable, bellows and water intake hose removed. also i have the 3 screws and bracket at the bottom #30 removed. was then thinking the whole gimbal assembly would pull away. am i missing something? also have steering arm lock nuts removed how do i pull gimbal assembly and pivot housing out of the steering arm?

      13, 8 and 26 should be removed

      @@michaelromer2016 i need to remove the pivot screws, #26 to pull the gimbal assembly with the pivot housing attached as one?
