Wouldn’t you divide number of stitches by 4 which is 51.
Maybe a treble crochet in the corner alone will help get a neat square?

Hi, sorry for the late reply, if you want to make the square bigger, you need to do the same for the circle, depending on how big you project is, you do the same for the circle and square :)

I would do 1 DC from one side to the other , then the corners... ( figuring how many DC from 1 corner to the next ) then do the corners.. that's how I do it...😉✌️❣️ Good luck hon..hope this helped & didn't confuse you even more.😳😊
