Man, I went out to mow my lawn today, cable snapped. After an appropriate amount of anger management I watched this video and got something similar rigged up. Thank you!!!!
You can't make this out of a cable tie. Hooking this down with a cable tie would suck. You can disassemble the mechanism and put the spring in backwards, but that is clumsy too. You can even kick this to turn the mower off.
@@CptAwilliamse Replacing a safety device is never a good idea. Think about your fingers or a child's fingers that might be interested in the mower. Hope you and yours stay well.
I guess you may just be the only person in the world who doesn't already use a zip tie or piece of wire to hold the engine-stop handle close all the time, then. Anyway, this is a great hack for those of us who have a broken cable, need to mow the lawn but have NO lawnmower parts dealers and would have to wait a few days for a part to arrive. Thanks for your concern, but my time is much more valuable.
God bless you for taking the time to show this easy fix
Exactly the kind of quick fix/ hack I was looking for! Thanks man!!! 🍻
Not only is this a great idea/fix,, but I got uplifted by the music while watching it. Thank you!

Why not complicated enough for you??? because i swear men have a perfect running motor and than figure out ways to make it break!!!
Very stupid to by-pass safety features on any lawnmower
I'll pray for you. You who cannot handle his business.

@@cetifoxproductions George may be accustomed to the engine stopping on its own and may forget to release the wire when he puts away the mower.
