The sound system is the only think I don’t like about my GRC. Any thoughts about using the Beat Sonic Amp? Still looking for reasonable priced option to upgrade the sound system
Tell you the trust I tried to order one. But they have been backed order for a while. Once they are back on stock I will try it. But $280 I’m not so sure about it but I’m willing to try it. I’ll check again this week to see if they have some back in took. Eventually I wanna replaced the amp. Because of some of the settings that are on the radio I do not wanna replaced. I ams look for another good options. The ideal situation would be keep the stock radio . Replaced the amp. Make the read and front speaker full range. Use the dash as mid and the A pillars as tweeters. And add an custom sub in the trunk. This winter I am going to work on the custom box…. So we will see what I can come up with this winter’s.
I have the beatsonic. It only drives the front speakers, but it made it bearable. I am going to replace the front speakers next. Then the rear and sub. And amp last
Its the headunit that is bad. I have the same in my corolla. Almost no bass on rear channel and lower sound than front. Its more watt on frot Chanel then the rear channel.
I agree with my corolla cross, i moved the sound to the rear a few clicks and increased the equalizer across the range. It doesn't really matter how the equalizer set as long as its increased seemed to boost the power imo.
The Speakers Bracket does not come with the Speakers. But when you buy Speakers from Crutchfield the will send you installation equipments. Like the speakers brackets and the Adapters. I hand not. Hangs the Front Yet. But I will change them This year. They are 6.5 up to 6.76 I’ll make a video once I do The Install.
@@JG-mg3if So far I really like it. I still need more base. so once the weather start to get better I am going to Install a Subwoofer/Amp combo. so I am doing research now so see what I will need. Once you do, Let me know what you think?
I drove one of these GR Corollas recently, it’s truly one of the best driving cars at any price point. It’s a special automobile, enjoy it!
I know until you drive this car you won’t know how much fun it is. I agree.
Awesome thank you for the video! I was waiting for someone to do it so I could follow along.
You are welcome. More video coming on this car no worries. Thanks for watching.

I have it. It's an improvement but by no means exceptional. From what I've read, the primary pain point of this system is the OEM JBL amp

the black stuff i adhesive to put in the grove if you use the grills
ohh okay thanks for letting me know. I appreciate it.
Nicely done!

A new headunit is what i Are going to get. To get good sound. Front and rear. Sony 9500es. 👍🏻
WE were about to replace the headunit as well but my customer got rid of the car before that.

Its not the Speaker. The way the radio has been tunned, that is what the issue is.

@@FutureAirways2 it’s how every was setup so this why I am installing an amp and complete system
Do you have a link for those circular foam pads?
Sure here it is. amzn.to/47ktMFc
@@CarStomIt Thank you! Do you happen to know what size our front speakers are for the same foam pads?
You can Fit 6.5 in the front but you can also do a 6.75 also.
So the circle brackets comes with the speaker sets? Also did you changed the front ones and are they the same size?
