What tools did you use to cut abd shave the foam? Did heat gun work out well? The upgraded JBL system is total garbage compared to any other system I’ve heard. Working on a solution.
I used a fine cut hand saw, and an extendable razor blade to finish it up and get a little cleaner. The heat gun worked well and made it so that the foam didn’t chip away anymore from the cuts.

Did you wire it up as 2ohm?
Yes it’s a 4 ohm dual voice coil so either wired as 2ohm or 8ohm
