Good stuff, especially the tip in the end not to be a jerk in sparring dropping your team mates with these great technique..... even though it’s soooooo tempting;-)
To lear and automatise the move its not necessary to do big power. And this moves HURTS. Or like and old coach of mine says "remember that your partner will learn this move too at you when you both change the positions..."
Good advice, I sweeped a guy 5 times in sparring last friday because I just discovered the move and it's effectiveness, I felt so good about it, this advice kinda puts that into perspective 😅
Always, always ALWAYYYSS awesome when Stuart collabs with Damien Trainor!!!😆and I've always loved that last one..it makes me feel like Burklerk Pinsinchai when I hit it on somebody.
2:33 brutal dumps make people lose breath or cough as in this example. Everyone enjoys the active role there but the falling and rising as the victim is really a pain in the back.
One of the (perhaps few) genuinely useful things about Aikido is learning to breakfall and the conditioning that comes from being ragged dolled for twenty minutes straight lol
As all Nak Muay can clearly see, in the battlefield tactics in the Siamese martial arts, one would include a full-power Thai style roundhouse kick, knee, or other, equivalent level of strike, during the takedown (on the way down, or instantly upon landing...)... "Nitey-night, bunny rabbits...."
Watching this video after some new guy kept dumping and sweeping me in light sparring. Got no issues with being dumped if it's someone I know and have sparred before, I didn't know this guy at all. I'll be ready for next time!
This is great and what is needed, but one complaint,,, you do not show exactly what part of the leg to make contact with when sweeping on most things,,, so am still left guessing in my head ??? lower leg, behind the knee or thigh,, Do you use your ankle or shin to sweep them... all those are not made clear, so am guessing still...
How do you breakfall when youre being swept to land on your stomach? The way your uke was breaking fall is dangerous he can break his arm if its slightly off angle (see panda muaythaid fight with her opponent)
Where I should kick when he doesnt kick right like he dont turn his waist into the kick so I cannot sweep him from the calf? I had this once and kicked against a shin what did me hurt a lot...
Muay Thai and Judo are too complete arts for self defense in the streets. Just add in knife defense techniques and continue to learn and grow. Plus spar from time to time. Enjoy the journey everyone ✌️& ❤️☺️
Would be more helpful if you did the maneuvers just as slowly as the set up. In other words, you took the time to slowly show the set up, and then each time conducted the throws at full speed. Video appreciated but the thing you're actually doing needs to be at slow motion more than the setup.
I felt bad for our lad having to eat those sweeps for 6 minutes straight. They can be either nothing or painful depending on how you fall. And the bad thing is you can’t control shit when you get swept. You can’t roll it. You can only try to be smart about your arm placement. I hate taking sweeps. I really do.
That last sweep is definitely going to be attempted during sparring
It looks so clean 💪
5 sweeps articulately tutored in just over 6 minutes - top shelf content

That's so weird, I've been dumped hard in every sparring session I ever had (I was also a noob back when I went kickboxing and could barely kick)

It’s fine every once in a while 😂
I really enjoy his muay thai tutorials especially when damien shows new combos and drills
You were needed in '83 when I was bouncing in a dangerous bar. My grappling was basic: this would have grafted on easy to my boxing. Great stuff

2:33 brutal dumps make people lose breath or cough as in this example. Everyone enjoys the active role there but the falling and rising as the victim is really a pain in the back.
its funny but this kind of drills will get u injured forever they need to put a fall mat on there...
that’s the point. to gas out your opponent
@@mixedmartialnutrition1746 bro theres already a mat there

To anyone who ever thought they're too weak or small to do Muay Thai, please shut up and LOOK AT THIS MAN.
Definitely going to use these tomorrow in class.
Great video your teaching just goes straight to the brain
Another hit, Stuart. Always a fan. Keep them coming.
Someone who masters these sweeps would be practically unstoppable on the street!
Exactly. Anytime I saw anyone get sweeped or thrown in a streetfight the fight was instantly over. Especially if Judo was involved.
Excellent demonstration!
Huge fan of your tutorials thank you!

If im a southpaw fighting an orthodox how do i execute the first one?
For decades i didnt know that there are throws in MT, but the i discover Saenchai.
Yeah depends on the style.
@@sylasmalone6126 eh... you can always do sweeps in muay thai, it's just that not everybody goes for them
Is there a name for the first sweep in judo?
@Darkteckh on telegram is a real vendor I can’t believe my eyes that man too real Go on his telegram He sell credit card with high balance
Use dumps sweeps to punish your sparing partner for dumb moves that leave then vulnerable
Getting dumped happens to me all the time in sparring...time for my revenge haha.

Six minutes of a guy getting kicked and slammed over and over again. Great stuff.
I am Kickboxer. I beat all

Sometimes coaching is just a way to practice at speed without having to get hit back lol
