    I was skeptical about the O2 trainer for years despite loving Bas. I finally decided to try it and have been using it for a couple of weeks. My runs are now easier at the same pace and my VO2 Max, according to my fitness watch, has gone up which is proof enough for me that the O2 trainer works. ❤

    This thing gets your midsection in such a crazy way. You can’t understand until you try it. It flattens your belly but you’ll also see more definition all the around, and under armpits. Makes you calmer in moments where you’d normally get kinda squashed with stress. It’s pretty trippy. And I’ve gotten kinda addicted to doing it when I’m walking around. On my way to work etc. it’s awesome

      How did it go? If works this could have prevented a lot of people going on incubators during covid. Biggest battle said an ICU nurse was getting people to relax when they have neumonia meaning operating on low lung capacity. Obese person starts panic breathing and induce heart attack. Doctors really dropped the ball,media and government didn't do them any favours putting out gag orders, not widely reporting this stuff. Was a mechanic at Ford, car comes in a different city with a new problem, they bash heads against the wall trying to fix it, then make a report and send to all dealerships, then when same model presents at a different dealership with same symptoms, they refer to the report what was a mystery is now a basic fix. BTW me as an apprentice should have read them like was my bible.. good luck! Godspeed?

    Just got my O2 trainer today, really looking forward to this. I went back to running a few weeks ago but tried to breath just as you describe. Not raising my shoulders and breathing into my abs. I noticed despite haven't run or done any reasonable endurance exercises for 10 years i am able to run for 5-6 miles, and when stopping getting my breath just back after a few inhales/exhales. I remember pumping like a dog after my runs in the past. Really feels different.

    Peter Attia said no single measurement or biomarker is more predictive of longevity than VO2 Max. If you guys can take the VO2 Max of people before and after using the trainer for a 4-8-12 week period, you would have some major data to use that would benefit a lot of people.

    Should make one with resistance on both inhaler exhale too I’d buy it immediately
    Just bought my 02 been 6 days laying in hospital with severe asthma and came across this

    • @nikitaw1982
      @nikitaw1982 8 месяцев назад

      You could tape the valve. So air only goes through on side. Or else modify the valve so could screw on one of the other bits with different size openings. Someone with a 3d printer could wipe one up in 5 minutes probably. Maybe take to a plumper and match the threads. I wonder if he explains somewhere why he doesn't do restriction for the exhale...

    • @rollinpace4lyf
      @rollinpace4lyf 6 месяцев назад

      You don’t need to tape the valve. Simply replace the side with the valve with any of the other resistance numbers and boom there you go. You breathe in through your nose and exhale with your mouth. Bas addresses this in one of his other videos

    • @mndeg
      @mndeg Месяц назад

    Hello Bas, Anyway to do "O2" with nasal breathing? I've got throat issues (coughed my brains out during Covid...), plus want to get the nitric oxide benefit that comes from breathing through the nose. Thanks! John R.

    • @ironkcoony
      @ironkcoony 20 дней назад

      Just by the logic, i think you can do the same exercise together with breathing trough the nose. Its the resistance that counts, weather its through the O2 Trainer alone, or the O2 trainer+nose. You should aim for the same numbers (30 times in 3-4,5 minutes) and that will have the same effect.

    Can you remember sending me one of the original ones Bas when I contacted you asking had these been tried in people that have respiratory conditions like me for example (Bronchiectasis) this helped me immensely mate really I should get back to using this more. However a quick question is this new version much of an improvement on the old one. I really don't use puffers anymore unless something irritates me, just a nightly nebuliser as maintenance and am on cortisone for life (secondary adrenal insufficiency) but for the most part all is good!

    Hello I’m so excited I bought the new O2trainer. I already feel a difference in my diaphragm after one set !
    My question is about the exhale. I feel resistance when I inhale using #2.5 but when I exhale I feel no resistance. Am I supposed to feel resistance for both inhale and exhale ?
    Does the flap side of the O2 trainer always stay the same diameter or does this get smaller as well ?
    Thank you so much I’m so excited to breath better with the O2 trainer 😊

    Used two days, and my back and mid abdomen are sore as hell. Guess (hope) it's to be expected. Interesting find is that after second training session today, I was able to hold my breath longer than I had been able to in some time. Early call, but I think this idea is working.

    • @O2TRAINER
      @O2TRAINER  Год назад +4

      That's great, that is exactly what you should feel! It forces you also to use your breathing muscles, so now you can simply take more air into your lungs, so yet, that's because you are using it. Exercise 2 will give you the crazy muscle aches, that's why I sayin many videos "don't do 30 reps, do just 15 the first time, 20 next than 30 the third time, but you went already through that now, haha. When you shoulders and neck muscles hurt, that means you are flexing those muscles when inhaling, but you didn't mention that, just give you a heads up, so IF that happens, just focus on letting every muscles relaxed except the breathing muscles, thank you!

      The mouthpiece is better so you can clench your jaws and that makes it easier to swallow. Plus I have a 1.5 and a 2.5 cap as well, the rest is the same, you will get the same benefits, so no need fora new one. Only the new videos talk about the new model, and please notice, size 14 with the old model is size 1 with the new model. The new model has numbers and those numbers are for mm. so 1 = 1mm etc. So when I say I se size 2, that's 13 for you. Godspeed
