How funny is it that this is your video for today? I delivered to Utz potato chip company in Hanover, Pennsylvania about 10:30 AM on Saturday and had a pick up from the same company at 3 PM on Saturday. Unload went fine and I went over to the other building to check in and they said I would have to wait so no worries still got the dock at 2:30 PM. Then I fell asleep and woke up about 5:45 still with a red flashing light and went inside to inquire on what’s the deal with my load and she said it was gonna be a few more hours because they were waiting on product to be brought from another warehouse in town. To complete this long story I fell back asleep and was woke up at 10:30 PM and asked to go to the other building to finish getting loaded. Somehow, I kept my cool through this entire ordeal and explained to the workers that I wasn’t upset with them, but this is a very frustrating thing. Come to find out the people who make decisions at this company, decided to layoff all of their experienced yard, jockeys and subcontract the work to JB Hunt, as a result of that change that happened that morning their entire operation was jacked up and everybody else working there was just as frustrated as every driver that was there all day long. The upside is I’ll get paid $50 an hour for eight of the 10 hours, I waited and I had a fresh clock to run out of Pennsylvania down through DC at night
This is VERY hard to do sometimes but your absolutely NOT wrong

Talk about a silver lining there! Having the hours to run through DC at night instead of mid morning is a hidden bonus on top of the detention pay.
