Watched this in person, best race I’ve ever seen by far.
I feel bad for Hobbs, but I am sure his team did the best they could. He deserves the state / USA championship just on this run alone..
Track remains a team sport in relays, do not feel bad as even though hobbs is the fastest high schooler, he shouldn’t get free relay wins. Same goes for cross country meets as a team.

Skyline actually should've been DQ'd? Played it back several times in super slow-mo. Hobbs did not have the baton when he crossed the line.
it went across the finish line so its ok
WTF? He clearly had the baton in hand @6:05 as he crosses the start line of the last leg with Skyline in 4th place. quit being a hater.
@@freshurb8963 They might be talking about 7:53 when the baton is dropped before the finish line.
He crossed the line with it, let it go, it rolls to the right side of the tent
