Brilliant 2 sets of brothers breaking the record...this will stand for a very long time because impossible to get two sets of siblings running as a team. Wow...get ready for Paris Olympics in 2024
Man, it would suck to be anyone of those other really fast runners in the field and have your efforts go COMPLETELY unnoticed, probably even by your own parents because of the prodigy team. Still, congrats to said prodigy team.
Its nice that they have so many running events to spread between these guys, it would suck to be dropping 4:07 miles and be stuck on JV. I remember in Highschool there was a school with 3 shotputters around the 18 meter+ mark, and 1 of them got relegated to "JV" because of it. At the indoor invitational state meet he got to join and placed top 3, but outdoor every school was only allowed 2 athletes, so he got shafted.
@@diskoeric2248 that's the problem, they only have a couple of those statewide all year. Most that allow more than 2 have varsity and JV, and the 3rd and 4th entrant automatically go to JV. It sucks for the guys stuck in JV as well since he can't go to the state meet because of entry limits.
3 of 4 high school guys running under 4:10, the 4th running 4:11. When does that ever happen? It usually takes 4 guys running under 4:30 to win a big meet like this.
@@lizzie8026 It has to be coaching. They've got the two sets of brothers and three or four guys who would win or place high in any CIF division right behind them. It's the combination of talent and coaching. Don't kid yourself.
@@JohnHoulgate obviously talent is nothing without hard work, and coaches are generally the ones pushing the athletes. I’m just saying that they did get lucky. These 4 guys have immense natural talent. Not to downplay coaching, but the coaches alone are not the ones that made these guys great. They have a gift and they work hard.

you shouldve seen nico young, their older brother,,, he was an absolute stud

We all know they’re superhuman clones, the first of their kind. By 2024 the other nations will have caught up.
@@grantkoehnen2114 Thats because nico young didn't have a senior track season.
@@Nickson523 Nico didn’t run sub 14:10 his junior year XC
The fact that they did this basically as a time trial is insane

no, not your parents but year, basically everyone else
thats so real bro
I hope they do this event again with a field that can push them.
they are doing the 4xMile at the Penn Relays against professional teams such as ON Athletics, it will be in April I think.
they'd have to do that one a collegiate or professional level nobody in highschool could match that talent
@@MalcolmYearbythey would get demolished by collegiate runners but would probably lower their time
Imagine being the other teams and knowing that no matter what you do , you will lose. Kudos to all the runners in the field!
There's probably a lot of us who have memories going up against the local juggernaut from our own high school days.

Hey do you mind if I use some of this footage for a video? I'll make sure to shout you out in the video we make!
Don't mind at all!
@@andrewmatina6733 Thanks so much! Great job filming the entire race by the way.
There's filming the entire race, then there's filming the entire race with quality footage. Great job indeed!
Great job with the video in capturring the atmosphere before, during and after the race!
I shared it with the NP family members

that doesn't even make sense. So he gets to beat up on JV guys throwing 30 feet? Just choose invites where you're allowed 3 or more athletes.

Amazing to have 4 guys running this fast as preps unheard of
It'd be more fair to throw newberry on an olympic track team rather than a high school meet....
Shoutout to Westfield Boys in that race, yall are crazy good
Superb miles from each
Imagine being one of the fastest 4x mile teams in the nation but still getting lapped on the 2nd leg.

I’m gonna go ahead and say that the only way this record is ever broken is if they run this event outdoors

did anyone on any other leg run faster than their slowest leg?

The second runner could have ran faster if he put the button in his other hand it’s better for the curves who knows they’ll probably beat it again
Sadly it got recorded with a toaster.
Nowadays it’s really hard to get good quality cameras isn’t it.
I can't stand it when music is played at indoor meet
