To each his own like he said. IMO 7:20 looks better naturally because asphalt road edge is never perfect like concrete patio. So edging exposes this ugly uneven edge

I honestly wish there was a radio station that played nothing but the sounds of lawn equipment. I could just get lost in those sounds. That's my passion. I loved the start of this video. I am the same way about something that has been working well for so long, it is hard to get rid of it. Keep it working as long as you can. Keep the relic. It shows us what brands are reliable.

Thanks for sharing your experience; nice looking lawn and tight edges. I am now reconsidering my position on edges. I like the tight edges too, but I don't edge as much as in previous years because the edge seems to create "ant freeways": the ant sees the freeways as a opportunity to build "ant communities".

    Thanks for the video !!
Perhaps no one does this but me.. I use a string trimmer with that really good, black twisted cover line, that is really smooth running. I edge the "sidewalk" side first.
Then, I stand on the grass and edge again, from that "grass" side..
When you stand there and look "down" on that grass, you see how it is still higher and longer a bit from that side, so you edge it again, with the string trimmer, holding it really still straight.
Then, then, you will really have the nicest, straightest, edge you have ever seen..
