Hey Pete any info on the Bermuda seed?
Guillermo Reyes they bagged all the new seed today. Should be loaded on the website reel soon
GCI Turf Services looking forward to getting some.
GCI Turf Services “reel” soon bahaha
@@SeattleSteelLLC you caught that....
@Sylvester Studstill is this a real app or am I missing the joke? Looked for it on playstore, thinking that's what you meant by "Google",and did not find it. So,what am I missing? Laugh, call me stupid if you wish, just let me know your answer please. Sorry to bother you but was interested in what you were talking bout.
Edging just adds that classy touch to any landscape.
To each his own like he said. IMO 7:20 looks better naturally because asphalt road edge is never perfect like concrete patio. So edging exposes this ugly uneven edge
I honestly wish there was a radio station that played nothing but the sounds of lawn equipment. I could just get lost in those sounds. That's my passion. I loved the start of this video. I am the same way about something that has been working well for so long, it is hard to get rid of it. Keep it working as long as you can. Keep the relic. It shows us what brands are reliable.
Thanks for breaking it down for the DYIer guys like myself for this video. My edges look good but now I see that I'm going too deep. I have an electric edger and will need to practice getting it to the right level. Have a wonderful week everyone and thanks to Pete for helping us all out.
Professional, no joke... That neighborhood looks amazing with that grass. Diligent people.
I don’t have a dad and I’ve been watching a lot of your videos to figure things out. Thanks man
Be respectful, sir you are respectful to us, your lawn, your neighbors. God bless you man. Beautiful job.
Great video, Pete. I especially appreciate your comments on what depth to set the blade. Just got a new edger and your tips are invaluable.
That's the reason I switched to battery equipment to EGO, No hassle when starting. Keep up the Great work Pete !!!
EGO tools are awesome
Just picked up some EGO tools. Looking forward to giving them a workout
Ego tools are fucking nice only problem is power. The power is low
...Add thank you for the tip. Until yesterday, I was one of those people you spoke about who buried the edger deep. Just yesterday, I used my new blade for the first time and I used your suggestion, and edging and blowing was a lot easier.
I love the way you explain everything! Your lawn looks gorgeous brother. I'm sure company loves pulling up to your house when you're hosting that BBQ 👍
Man Pete
The yard (as you would say) is looking some kind of good.
So glad I went and killed it off last summer. Used your seed and from there your guys have took care of the rest. Much appreciated of the work your company does on maintaining my yard!
I came looking for edging advice, but I was so fixed on the yard and how great it looks! The edging definitely gives it that extra touch, but overall, excellent job!
The first minute is exactly why I went with the Milwaukee quick-lok battery system.
The Cappy I forgot to mention my edger is 15-17 years old to the best of my knowledge. Lol. She’s old 😎
Most definitely go with the battery one.
@@GCITurf nice, old ones are the best
@@ecentballer1But, inevitably, you're gonna have to buy a $$$ battery. Mine runs on a 100' extension cord.
Best ad for battery powered lawn tools I have seen in ages!
Noting beats a crispy edge with crispy stripes! Did my Edging last night. Great info on the depth.
3:34 mark really helped in giving me an idea of how to find the concrete line when the edge of the lawn has grown over it. Yours was the first video I've seen that broke that part down. Thank you for that.
Thanks for sharing your edging secrets! I'll focus on not going as deep, however, I'm still mesmerized by your striping!
I've been edging for months now and man it feels great. Thanks for the video
I would adjust your carb a little, I did mine and fires right up every time! Great videos, keep up the great work!
Thanks for sharing your experience; nice looking lawn and tight edges. I am now reconsidering my position on edges. I like the tight edges too, but I don't edge as much as in previous years because the edge seems to create "ant freeways": the ant sees the freeways as a opportunity to build "ant communities".
Just picked up the same edger. PE-200. Super good condition. Starts first pull!
I have to admit I suck at Edging, going to go out today and see if I can apply what you just demonstrated. Your lawn looks awesome!
I can relate to that edger because about everyone I’ve ever used runs exactly like that.
Great tip on the blade control to make the stick blade last longer.
Looking forward to that strom sprayer. Hopefully I can win one and help out more neighbors with lawn care.
Good tips on the depth of the blade. Your lawn looks great! 👍🏼
I KNEW he was from North Carolina! Born and bred! Keep up the great work. I’m learning a lot from this channel for my first home.
Nice edge Pete! Glad you got a nice paved road to be able to run that down. A nice concrete swail would be nice too.
A dedicated gas edger is the way to go! Extra piece of equipment, but way easier to use than a stick edger. It will cut right through overgrown edges!
“Always be respectful”. Man I’m a big fan from Puerto Rico / South West Florida! Thank you for your great videos.
Donde estan mis boriqua puñ ta lol 😆

Pete you have the best videos and your lawn is testament to your skills. I need Hybrix in my life!!
Great job bro! Your style of explaining and teaching is very relatable
Cor!!...that echo reminds me of myself trying to wake up in the morning.
You certainly live in a nice drum too. That grass is so green and lush, you have a lovely surrounding garden to your home.
Nice video.
Man your making me jealous, in CT it's been in the low 40's and rainy all month. Your yard is looking phenomenal as usual.
L J yeah Northeast Spring really sucks!!
Pete, I’ve got to add a second comment. I’m still laughing my a*s off at your comment about digging a hole to China with a stick edger. Best video on the web about how to use a stick edger.
I am a newcomer to this, but you my friend are a huge help. Great knowledge and tips, and you have a great knack for teaching. Subscribed, and thank you very much for all of this knowledge.
I need to see this video yesterday lol. I edged yesterday with new blade and what a mess .... went to deep. But this video is going to help with back yard around the pool area. As always thanks
Dang! Those Stripes!😎👊 Oh, HyRBrix !💥💣
Thanks for the video !!
Perhaps no one does this but me.. I use a string trimmer with that really good, black twisted cover line, that is really smooth running. I edge the "sidewalk" side first.
Then, I stand on the grass and edge again, from that "grass" side..
When you stand there and look "down" on that grass, you see how it is still higher and longer a bit from that side, so you edge it again, with the string trimmer, holding it really still straight.
Then, then, you will really have the nicest, straightest, edge you have ever seen..
Thank you! Your channel really helps and inspires me!
Great tips man, thanks for sharing. I didn't think to trim it first, that should help a whole lot!
U absolutely Know ur stuff. U should have ur own show!
I'm from Europe, and I'm baffled by the amazing size of property you people have in the US. Thank you for the very detailed video.
Just moved from Germany to the us it’s amazing
Good video! Not enough videos about how to use a stick edger. Just bought my first one. A little nervous since I'm used to a string trimmer but I'm excited for a game changer!
Just think, I almost passed up watching this video. I'm glad I didn't. I learned something. Great video. You have a beautiful lawn. I love it.
“Use the string trimmer first so you don’t dull your edger blade trying to find the line”
That’s a great tip.
I like your videos very clean meticulous work. So for an overgrown edge I usually start with the blade edger & then i finish off with the trimmer head to clean up any grass that the blade couldnt cut.
You have a beautiful home. God Bless you...
Wish my neighbor's would clean up!! Im always cleaning up after all of them, like a good neighbor
A good edge sets your yard apart. I use the gator blade. First couple mows I edge deep to get that sweet hard edge. After that, just enough to cut the grass. Makes all the difference in the world.
I finally did my edges for first time this year. My TTTF is so thick right now it beat the tar out me!! 😎😎 kinda nice problem to have huh?
Amazing Pete. Thanks for the great videos!
All that hassle getting it started remindsme of when I had a petrol edger. Thank god I've got a battery electric now. Starts first time every time! Better for the planet too.
Man, I've been needing to get a stick edger for so long, it's about time I get one.
Thank you because I wasn't sure what order to use the string trimmer and then the stick edger.
Satisfying and informative as always!
God bless
Geez Pete! Those striped look amazing!!
Pete. Thanks for all the education. Great content.
Classic Pete video
This is why I subscribed a long time ago
Great tip on not going too deep. I have a horseshoe asphalt driveway.
Such a lovely lawn! Thank you for the video!
Hey! This video is real interesting!!! i just love edging me lawn after a long stressful day at work!
Love the channel and way of topic bought your garden pack love it and thank you for that how long do you think it will take for the seeds to pop out of the ground
Thanks for the video. I’m running a Stihl stick edger, and I have “scrub” back and forth to get the edge I want. What am I doing wrong? Are you edging _every_ week?
Thanks for the video Pete! Ironic this just came out because I just got to use my edger tonight for the first time in Central a Nebraska.
Those are some really awesome stripes in that lawn! Major League stripes!
☀️ Great video, love me some clean edges, too!! ☀️
Beautiful lawn I’ve been working on mine in Long Island for 5 years when I have time but damn I’m jealous
Thanks for the tip trying to do my yard work myself
Amazing thickness to the grass.
I love edging. Such a clean look.
Nice Lawn - i wish i could have a lawn like this. You put some hard work in to it.
Wow buddy that’s a beautiful yard. Love those stripes and edges.
I string edge..but i did order a stihl edger today..and then i see you video..i also have corner lot with lots of curbing to maintain..
Amazing grass much love from Australia
Clean edges rock!!!
Helpful tips Pete. Thanks for your informative videos.
Wow that's a big yard to look after... 💯💯
Dang Pete, sun is making that yard shine!! Cant wait until fall so i can start my new yard...when is that Blue Heat coming out? Thats what i plan on using for my new yard.
It’s 2am and I’m over here watching videos how to edge your grass right. 😂
Whoo-Hoo! North Carolina!!! Love your videos. Very professional, great quality.
Thanks for the video! I think I am going a little deeper than that.
Damn ! That lawn!! I need that in life !!
I wish that I would have seen this video a few years ago! Lol! Your yard is amazing btw.
Love ur videos pete. God bless.
such a gorgeous lawn
What a beautiful green lawn!
Lawn is looking great!
Sharp edges make my day!🤩
The 704 dog days of summer are here in middle of August and at this point our edges are easily maintained by now with fescue but the bermuda is a ass kicker if you let it go more than two weeks.
Crisp straight edges are my thing. It drives me bananas when people and lawn care companies use a string trimmer to to the edges. I hope all is well with you and your family bro!
You can string trim. It takes a little more practice but can be done
String trim when done right is the crisp. But if you need a new edge I’ll use the edger then clean up with string trimmer and it’s perfect every time
I gotta do the same thing to my lawn.
Man it’s looks beautiful brother
Nice house you have there and nice yard too. God bless..👍🏻
That thin line looks great. I know someone that is having their landscaper make the edge a good 2 to 3 inches wide. I wonder why they do it. Maybe they do it so they don’t have to pay someone to do it very often. It definitely doesn’t look good.
Great job! Subscribed. Gave a big thumb's up! Said it before and I'll say it again!
I often wonder who in the world gives thumb's down. I guess it's just trolls.
My wife tells me when I get annoyed at someone who cuts me off on the highway
or pulls into my parking space at home, or give me a thumb's down, "Don't get upset, just feel sorry for the guy, he's probably in a hurry to get his hemorrhoid prescription filled!" Then I just laugh (most of the time) lol.
Apologies to all who have that condition and don't cut people off on the road.
Thank you for this!
That's it! I'm buying a stick edger.
Nice edges, great yard.
Thanks, Pete!
