    I was working on a photo and at about 6:20 when you were saying there are two ways to match color, I was praying you would match the subject with the background and not the other way.. Glad it worked out that way :)

    Thanks Colin. I hadn't seen Match Color explained this well and it's very powerful and when combined with blur... brilliant.

    Thanks, Colin. Great video. Prior to seeing this, I would have used the Harmonization Neural Filter to do this type of matching. Do you have any comments on the comparison of these 2 methods?

    • @photoshopcafe
      @photoshopcafe  Месяц назад +2

      I’ve done a tutorial on harmonization. Currently I prefer match color because of the control. The ai filter is good sometimes, but it’s hit and miss

    Excellent job. Small caveat. The city is in early morning light; the young woman in afternoon-ish light. To get closer to morning light, I use a cyan filter. Default is 25%, which is usually too much, so I just adjust until it has the right feel. So I would do the light transformations after applying a slight filter. At low levels, a cyan filter can be used to take the "heat" out of a shot because it is a very similar colour temperature to the sky.
    PS: Any word yet on when or if Photoshop will add the "remove reflections" filter?

    Thanks Colin really good video, do you think in the near future you could do a composite of say 5 or 6 images at once say like a movie poster?
    Thanks in Advance.

    Hi Colin really appreciate your vids. This one has hiss in the audio. Like an old cassette tape. Not sure why this is happening for you coz we discussed it previously but I thought I’d mention. It’s not actually a problem but given other channels have pretty good audio I thought I’d mention it

    • @photoshopcafe
      @photoshopcafe  Месяц назад

      It’s the ac. Right now we are having a heatwave. But I’ll look T ways to filter it in the future, maybe parametric eq. The reduce noice makes the voice sound too metallic

    I have a question: is there any graphic theory that requires the shadows used in graphics to be turned left down?

    Seems like the light angle is still off by about 90 degrees. The light hitting the buildings is coming from the right forward of the photographer, but the light on woman is from the right and behind the photographer. How would you go about fixing this discrepancy?

  • @luzmery57
    @luzmery57 Месяц назад +1

    that is fine for 2 photos but when you want to merger around 50 photos in one?

    I do appreciate the technique. Apparently, no one is mentioning it, but I found the light orientation terrible. The background light comes from the 2 O’clock position. The light on the model is from the 5 O’clock position. It doesn’t match at all. I found this composite looking awfully fake. Again, I appreciate the technique, but it still looks awful.
