These steps makes a Huge Difference for the final image look. From a "cheap work" we can turn things to "outstanding work". Thank you for your tutorial!
I do quite a bit of image combining, but your tutorial offered a LOT of new tips and tricks to improve my processes. Best 5 tips for me in this one? 1) Drop larger image on top of smaller image; 2) Color Match tool; 3) Creating a separate drop shadow layer (MY FAV!); 4) Skewing the shadow; 5) Color Grading. Thank you, Colin!!
Stumbled across your videos today after not using photoshop in years. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU! Very easy to follow along and I'm SO happy with the results.
THANK YOU!!! You break everything down so well! I haven't been able to find anything or anyone who can explain Photoshop in a way that ACTUALLY makes sense to me until YOU! I appreciate your videos so much!! Things are FINALLY starting to make sense and it's giving me confidence!
Your instructions were easy to follow, you spoke clearly and explained what you were doing as I worked my way through. A big bonus for me was how you created a separate drop shadow layer and then skewed it to work with the shadows within the background image. I won't forget that wonderful trick! Many thanks.
Very well presented . I am not exactly a beginner but am self taught and have an erratic workflow which I am trying to simplify . I know there are many gaps in my knowledge and that I could cut down on the time it takes me when trying to be creative with images . Watching this I have already learned new methods . The
You are genius....Finally I found someone who can talk through a tutorial and make it so easy to follow and I get the end results I'm after. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
Watched this video several times. You explain what / how to do this perfectly so a complete novice like myself can understand. Thanks for the time you've put into this video . Top RUclips channel 👌 👍 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
Best tutorial ever. Your calm manner and straight forward steps helped me enormously. I will practice this several times, and then look for your other tutorials. I feel lucky today! Thank you!
I moved back and forth to find out how you added the rim light. I like what you did. Is there another tutorial using the method of the rim-light layer. Thank you for all you do online for helping people learn how to use Photoshop.
Thank you, thank you, thank you ... great tutorial, but best of all was being able to follow along with you using the same photos. It made all the difference.
Great content, non-irritating voice, no stupid hype, not hours long, has two separate eye brows (you know). Definitely a channel ill return to. Thank you
This is such an amazing tutorial..I have watched lots of tutorials today as I want to learn Photoshop and alot of videos are too in depth or not explained properly. This video is perfect for beginners. U make it simple but effective
Great tutorial, I'll be doing this a few times in a row to really nail down the concepts here. They seem basic, but this is enough for most users to feel comfortable before jumping into their own compositions.
You are my favorite teacher Colin! This one went slowly enough for me to properly follow. Yes, I will have to watch it again and of course do my own trials, but this foundation in how to proceed makes that less daunting and easier to get on with. Thank you!
Sir can you please tell me why that upside down return/enter symbol is there for. @7:51 on the top layer(for my bad luck you skipped that part). Cause I've seen that thing in other photoshop tutorial videos, but due to overload of information I forgot where I've seen it.
Very interesting tutorial, and quiet way to explain things, thanks a lot, but at a moment (7'45) a new layer named "rim" appears, and I couldn't find where it comes from ! could you explain that, please ? thank you !

This is golden for this 86 year old beginner!! Excellent!!
