Personally it feels like light heartedly accepting death, learning how to live with the cruelty compared to mfmf's version where it feels like a last stand, one more song to let all your emotions burst. Kanade's version feels like falling from the sky knowing that you will end when you hit the ground. Also don't you think it kind of sounds like "Asu No Yozora"? Which may explain the sentence mentioned in the latter. *This is only my personal take on how it felt when I listened to it like 2 - 10 times*

This is still one of the most powerful songs I've ever heard. Whenever I'm depressed, I come here cause I feel like someone is screaming out my feelings for me.
IKR! The original song is already good with its amazing lyrics, but Mafu's cover just grabs the song and pulls it to its full potential by adding this anger and frustration. And, that final scream is just so . . . artistically and poetically cathartic!
For me, this song is not about depression itself, but rather about a person, who managed to cope and overcome it with the acceptance of such concepts as loss, death, "farewells" in life, as parts of it. Its a song about a person, who saw through the lies, that society forces us to tell ourselves. This is a song about acceptance and about finding the inner strength to move forward.

YES. I first heard that version from a TOG edit i saw. And honestly, it felt as though my fave anime at the time told me to live. It had such an impact on me, i'm still living well enough to write this comment :>

100 million views... this was the second song I’d heard him sing. Back when I first found it, I think it was around 68ish million. It’s been almost a year since I found him, and honestly I feel like I’ve changed for the better. This is one of those songs that is not separated by language. You can purely feel the emotion without understanding a sliver of the language. My absolute respect to mafumafu for such a remarkable voice.
@@aleksandar2947 I've only discovered mafumafu recently, and i doubt it was altered in any way after watching his other videos. Sure there is some alteration here and there on some bit for artistic effect, but his voice do sound feminine. And i think that's an advantage in it's own way since he have a wider pitch range than most guy.
@@aleksandar2947 his voice is naturally feminine, and can go really belty without alterations. Examples exist online once you plunge into the world of livestreams, but a lot aren't translated. There is one where Mafu sings with Urata, belts the high note for Leia with Soraru, the video showing how sound can be used for sand art via vibrations, and Mafu's flex (C7?) during a Q and A vid. He can go low, but it's barely bass. Most guy's and some girls will probably be able to do them, although a large chunk of them are rap. Also he had to go to a throat doctor a couple years ago. The doctor literally went "huh, well it looks like your throat structure is like a girl's..." Singing, he can reach C6 even tho there is proof that he reached C7 (but that was just holding a note)
I can see why this is mafumafu's most viewed cover, his voice truly brings so much emotions, so much i cant describe as anything other than heavenly. I always tear up listening to this

エゴだと前置きしながらも怠惰な生き方だっていい、死ぬな、生きろと叫ぶ楽曲の実直さにも胸を打たれましたし、なによりまふまふさんの力強く、それでいて儚い叫びとその余韻に思わず涙が溢れてしまいました。

IKR! The original song is already good with its amazing lyrics, but Mafu's cover just grabs the song and pulls it to its full potential by adding this anger and frustration. And, that final scream is just so . . . artistically and poetically cathartic!

YES. I first heard that version from a TOG edit i saw. And honestly, it felt as though my fave anime at the time told me to live. It had such an impact on me, i'm still living well enough to write this comment :>

100 million views... this was the second song I’d heard him sing. Back when I first found it, I think it was around 68ish million. It’s been almost a year since I found him, and honestly I feel like I’ve changed for the better. I don’t really have much to write, especially looking at other’s comments, but even then, I’m incredibly grateful to Mafumafu for everything he’s given us. He deserves the 100 million views, and so much more, especially considering what he’s been through and everything he’s given us. Thank you, Mafumafu..

@@aleksandar2947 I've only discovered mafumafu recently, and i doubt it was altered in any way after watching his other videos. Sure there is some alteration here and there on some bit for artistic effect, but his voice do sound feminine. And i think that's an advantage in it's own way since he have a wider pitch range than most guy.
@@aleksandar2947 his voice is naturally feminine, and can go really belty without alterations. Examples exist online once you plunge into the world of livestreams, but a lot aren't translated. There is one where Mafu sings with Urata, belts the high note for Leia with Soraru, the video showing how sound can be used for sand art via vibrations, and Mafu's flex (C7?) during a Q and A vid.
He can go low, but it's barely bass. Most guy's and some girls will probably be able to do them, although a large chunk of them are rap.
Also he had to go to a throat doctor a couple years ago. The doctor literally went "huh, well it looks like your throat structure is like a girl's..."
Singing, he can reach C6 even tho there is proof that he reached C7 (but that was just holding a note)
