That's awesome! Ya its really good tbh. Best set I have seen. I haven't collected since 2001 either, and looking through all the stuff I missed, there is usually 1-2 cards per each set I really like.
This is the opposite. Its basically every single card that is gorgeous, and all but like 2 of the special illustration cards are amazing.

Hey metro, I know in the previous openings you mentioned ordering from different sites/stores. Which would you most recommend specifically for 151? Looking to get into collecting and I mainly care for the first generations of pokemon. Also which set will you be moving onto? Thanks

The best value of all the things I purchased was the Ultra Premium Collection from Costco. If you have a membership it's even better. It was 100 even for 15 packs and three promo cards which can easily resell for about 10 dollars right now.
But the problem is it comes with a ton of other stuff I don't want and I hate wasting stuff, personally.
Still it's the best value per pack and resale value if you care about that at all.
Otherwise I am looking for actual booster packs which should be considerably cheaper. Sadly no store anywhere seems to sell them regularly.
People are suggesting there will be a reprint for Christmas if you care to wait that long. But until then I don't care to keep buying 100 dollar things where I have to throw out half the stuff so I'm going to invest elsewhere.
I talk about it in the next video that's coming soon but basically I am just going to try to snipe bids from the PSA vault on eBay for high value grades in hopes to resell them now or down the road.
Opening the packs was fun, but it's just ran it's course for now.
I may consider coming back to it when they release the team rocket thing.
If you didn't hear it's called revenge of team rocket or something and it was copyrighted in Japan.
Presumably it will include gen one and two. If it's no more than that, I'll probably get into it. Otherwise too many new pokemon I just don't care about.

Admittedly, I haven't watched any of these unboxing videos...or whatever they are called. I have seen others opening the original (or at least older, rarer ones) though. I've heard all kindsa stories about everything from resealing packs to opening the packs carefully since even the empty foil is worth something in those older versions.
All that said, and looking at the thumbnails of your previous opening vids, it's pretty cool that you have a good "passion" (if that's the right word) for the whole scene. Taking the time to set up a table, stand up the boxes at the start, describe how you're feeling during the video, stacking the new/rare/duplicates in separate piles etc doesn't go unnoticed. The aforementioned clickbait ones from the wealthy streamers are much more haphazard with over-hyped reactions. Trump would prolly call them "Fake Pokémon" lol
It's just good to see people being genuine, rather than half-assed about making content, regardless if some of the audience (in this case, myself) isn't all that familiar with what's going on in the video as far as what cards are what ha.
Have a good 4th if I don't see you in stream!!

Thanks, means a ton for you to say that. I do love pokemon and the art with these is insanely good. I'm hooked!
