    I just keep rewatching it. He pulls out all of the pain in this guy's life, talks about possibility, holds his feet to the fire, and exudes total confidence. Grant believes in this so much he created a black hole of excuses out of which nothing this guy said could escape.
    "You gotta start taking care of your wife" was the clencher.

      +rick artuso Becasue they know he's rght and they aren't ready to accept it. That prospect was right for closing because he knew, you could hear it in his voice, he had to decide there and then to be a success or carry on struggling.

    • @kellenm27

      Definitely. He wouldn't talk like that to everyone. He knew that was the best way to close him.

    • @Rysukosan
      @Rysukosan 8 лет назад +22

      Yea, of course not everyone is going to allow you to talk to them like that but this guy did and that is what he obviously found out very quickly when he started talking to him. A good salesman finds out very quickly who they are selling to and how to sell that particular person and that is exactly what he did here. So no not decent, extraordinary because he DID exactly what you say "not everyone will allow him to do" you obviously aren't very knowledgeable in sales if you don't understand that.

    • @R2sojr09

      +Ryan PD I'm actually a good salesman. I don't need tactics like this to close.

    • @Rysukosan
      @Rysukosan 8 лет назад +3

      If you say so, every good salesman is going to use a "tactic" as you call it to get the sale. When you are selling someone you want to be able to know who you are talking to so reading said person is a skill that a good salesman will have. That my friend is not a tactic but a skill that is used to close a deal. I'd love to see a live video of you closing a deal without said "tactics" have a wonderful evening.

    It's an Alpha/Beta relationship. He could have been talking gobbiltygook the whole time and it wouldn't of changed anything. If you want someone to buy from you, you need to become the Alpha of the conversation. Loud voice, pounding fists, insults. They're all designed to show superiority turning the purchaser submissive. It's the essence of life itself. There is always a dom/sub relationship in all aspects of life. Two bears meet in the woods and each roars at each other until one backs down taking on the sub role. If you want to sell you need to never be the one who backs down. Keep roaring. Sure, it could be argued as psychologically damaging, but you could also argue that this type of behavior occurs every moment every day. It's a necessary part of life. A necessary part of survival. It is hard-wired into us.

      patri0tstar People gotta stop feeling sorry for these middle class folks who are sold over the phone. On my way to success, the only ones roadblocking me, and telling me I'm wasting my time and won't make it were middle class idiots. Just because I wasn't driving a nice car like them, because Invested my $$ instead of spent it. I have no mercy for these people. The guy on the phone will either become a predator, or take the loss and go back to being content with middle class(7/10 will take the middle class life)

    • @SplashCannonball
      @SplashCannonball 6 лет назад

      I guaran-damn-tee you can't sell anything to anyone beyond those middle class "idiots" you call. This vid was suggested to me and I use tactics straightforward, adapt a different approach tailored to each call and I can verify I make more in one month than most of Cardone's reps make in half a year.
      Anyone who has money won't buy into the BS. Cardone knows this. Therefore, he targets the ones earning under 100K because he knows he can't win a deal with a big time player and neither can his crew.

    The powerful thing going on here that people don't see is that the guy on the phone wants to collapse and is scared and wants to hide under the security blanket of life. Grant is supplying this guy with real leadership and will NOT let this guy collapse in fear and self doubt. He is leading this guy to the promised land and will not take no for an answer because he believes in his service and its ability to transform peoples lives so much.
    All the critique about grant bullying are coming from weak minded scared people.
    GRANT is actually doing this man a Great service in not allowing him to collapse into failure for himself, his wife, and his children.
    This is the kind of man I want to be. A coach who will never let his team collapse into a failure mindset. Especially when I understand how close around the corner victory is with the right confidence and energy

    • @salesguru5788
      @salesguru5788 9 лет назад +1

      NikiRealtor There is a variable out of the control of the seller; People who won't even spend 15 min on the material are not worth interviewing. Only time will tell if he is one who will actually invest time in the program and follow it to a T - not "pick & choose" what "he" thinks is right. Those are the two most common causes of failure on a course 1) not using the course 2) modifying it ( because the modifications of the competent sales advice are made by someone incompetent with sales )

      NikiRealtor: That's not his job, nor his concern. His focus is to sell a product (in this case a sales program), and then move on to the next prospect. It's up to the purchaser to put the time & effort it in to learn it and utilize it to its fullest potential.

      Universities charge you much more and produce incomes less then what you paid for. Not to say that college is all bad but closing skills in a year for 4k should be worth more then the investment almost immediately. College has done such a good job at selling itself in the package of the American dream it doesn't need a salesman.

    • @antropovp
      @antropovp 8 лет назад +1

      MrStrongmuscle agreed. They can't tell what a man think he needs. What they can do is to make an idea around the product, give the man that kind of knowledge about it, that will give him understanding that he needs it. When customer realizes, that it's a great opportunity for him, he buys.

    • @MrStrongmuscle
      @MrStrongmuscle 8 лет назад +5

      Pavel Antropov He was not really giving him any information on the product, he was judging the mans character, and also using psychology to get him to buy it. In business, there is no such thing as a product anymore. It's only the sales pitch you are buying most of the time.
