I relate with ramses, i had my own private continent with the civs doing whatever I want with my millitary might
I was on a continent with Hungary ended up making about 4-5 cities and took pretty much every wonder most of them were at my capital (btw I was playing Suleiman) while still leading in the domination category and for the record I hadn't been doing any military production since around 800-1000 AD just been upgrading my units and circulated them across the empire
Edit: Forgot to mention this but by this time, it was the middle of the industrial era

-bought out the 1 city-state with 6 uranium on it

-Used my "friends" the bought city states to enforce a non-nuclear Creation act
So then, I had more than a dozen nukes, and everyone else cant make one

I think I choked on my laughter at this, having *just* finished a game where I played as Egypt and got a whole continent to myself.
Had my own private continent as England in civ VI, and I got Leif Erikson so I could cross ocean tiles way before anyone else.
No enemy unit even managed to set foot on my continent, and it was surrounded by shipwrecks by the time I unlocked natural history, which I then used to archaeology-spam my way towards a culture victory.
So are we talking about Egypt or USA now?
It seems to me that Ghandi only attacked after crabs were banned, clearly nukes were the only reasonable response.

Lord of Tea What I do is if someone tries to ban a luxury I have, I trade it with the person with the most delegates. That way they are more likely to vote against it and even if it is banned at least you get something in return for "free" until the deal ends.
Suleiman is hilarious! I also love how well Venice portrays his character. And Theodora really captured the body language from the game.
Apparently my brain just refers to him as Venice, rather than by the actual world leader's name or the actor's name.
I refer to half the Civs by the leader name and the other half by the Civ name, I'm told it's normal.
