Sehr sehr schön die Business-Klasse in einem A340 von SWISS...hatte die Freude nach Los Angelos bequem zu fliegen, einfach nur klasse..aber die von Emirates bleibt m.M.n unübertroffen..
@Smoothylanding : The A340 has powerfull engines,so he needs a bit more fuel, compared with the 777 and thats the reason why this beatifull airplane isn't sold so often. But they are near MTOW(Maximum Take Off Weight) and thats why he climbs so "slowly".
I always find interesting, in watching these Lufthansa and Swissair videos, the admixture of German and English in the cockpit conversations. Also, in this one, the pilot's exaggerated pronunciation of the terminal -ch sound. Is that characteristic of Swiss German, or was he horsing around? I noticed also that on several occasions, they thanked ground personnel avec 'merci'.
Wish it was longer, this was an excellent video, wish it had the full flight.. Even if it had been broken upto parts like Part 1 would of been what we just seen on this part, then part 2 would of covered bits of main flying & part 3 would of been decent & part 4 Landing & arrival into Destination Airport..
You're a damn lucky guy ! (sorry for my english -> my teachers aren't good) ;) i think that was a breathless moment in your life. when i was 12, i was allowed to see the cockpit too, but i didn't fly the plane ;). But i think that the swiss dialect is cool, too... especially for women ;)
Super Film. Wünsche mir noch viele weitere. Ich freue mich auf den 17. März 2013. Dan geht's wieder nach Thailand, diesmal mit der SWISS. Ich freue mich.
I´m wonder if Swiss mix languages in cockpit; french/italian/german? Every videoclip here on YT is in german. Just curious Thnx for a great clip :D Vielen Dank // Michael
I think this is the flight where they experienced engine failure and they actually continued taping, allowing us to see the procedure.. There's a clip of this somewhere I remember watching not to long ago.
as an american student learning german, i feel the swiss sound more like the french, and are harder to understand than germans and austrians. so basically, from what i could understand, this video was very cool!
in the full length video they explain that they were in negations for overflying rights with russia at the time. and the 90 degrees turn in peking is standard due to the airline designated entering and exit routes to china...
This video was taken in April 2010 if I remember good. And this is another flight after the flight where they experienced engine failure. That was in November.
I just flew with Swiss today, what an amazing airline. Thank you for sharing! I only fly with you!
Best aircraft video I've ever seen ! Thanks a lot for posting !

Best long-haul box ever. Trent RR engines. Barbaric aircraft.
I think this is the flight where they experienced engine failure and they actually continued taping, allowing us to see the procedure.. There's a clip of this somewhere I remember watching not to long ago.

ขอบคุณ Social Media ที่ทำให้เห็นอะไรแบบนี้แบบมุมมองใหม่ๆที่ไม่มีโอกาสได้เห็นจากสื่ออื่นๆ
