You know what, when i was still a kid, my friends would answer my questions about islam with "dont question and think too far or you will be crazy" we are teached to be ignorant, to not think too much. And by our own elders, parents, teachers.. this is such a problematic issue..

The rotation was revered by pagans for centuries before Mo, so no surprise. Plus, I counted over 16 times where 'month' or 'months' appear in the Quran.) - The phrase ‘seven heavens’ is used in the whole Quran exactly seven times: 2:29, 41:12, 65:12, 67:3, 71:15, 17:44, and 23:86 (I count 8. They missed 78:12) - Muslims circumambulate around the Qiblah, which is the Kaaba, seven times during pilgrimage. So, I say all that to say, most of the symmetric arguments that I have read about all fall flat when you have to bring the hadith in - because the hadith is not in the Quran and is therefore not God's Word, now is it?

2:06 Abdullah killed me with this video!!!! I recently learned more about LDS Mormons and while I knew some of it, the details really blew me away! I think all Muslims should learn about Joesph Smith and they may wonder why did this guy also get a revelation, then was moving around, then started to establish his own law out of the religion, then was being told by god to take these many wives (who were even still married). At least Mormons do not jihad! Regardless, Muslims like to claim how moral their religion is, they should see that Mormons are good people too, but are not good because of their religion. The circular thinking you have to use to believe Muhammad was a prophet is mind-blowing. I would love just one shred of evidence that Muhammad was actually a prophet and not a successful cult leader.
Muhammad was a dictator of his time and he knew how to control the masses. He was this outsider/poor man who rose from the bottom to the top, exactly like some of the most cruel dictators that we remember today. I can imagine how a person could see him as a role model and someone worthy of respect back then. Even today there are people who does that (most of us look up to people who made it alone from the start, it's inspiring). Additionally, nobody questioned him, because he and his followers controlled the civilians with the sword (either believe or die). It amazes me how his "teachings" are still around 1400+ years after his death (same goes for any other religion). And even more baffling is how people still defends him and go against their own morality and intellect (like Zakir Naik who is a fan of the scientific "miracles" of the Quran).

Yes, many times before & since Mohammed, spirits have told people that they were God, God' final messaged or a messenger of God. When people die, they pretty much the same same beliefs as without their physical body.....thus they will say, believe or desire a wide variety of things.....just like us. If Muhammad Pbuh made up the Quran then this is still the greatest book, to have billions and billions of followers and lives changed throughout time because of this book does not happen by someone making it up. The same can not be said about the Bible since it is written by many authors throughout time. This life is a test dear brother. I am a muslim. Allah tests some by giving them life in muslim community to test if one can stay with truth for the whole life and second Allah gives you life in nonmuslim community to test you if you can accept the truth which is islam. I have studied the major religions deeply my dear brother but islam is the only truth. I will always pray for you to be guided!!
