Can anyone explain him hitting 1 hp multiple times there? I know it happens with brewmasters because their stagger can't kill them, only reduce them to 1 hp. My only guess would be some weirdness with Will of the Necropolis. Been a while for me to play BDK serious enough to get oneshot by anything but it did not happen back then.

They have a cheat death called Purgatory which lets them effectively drop into negative HP, but their actual HP stays at 1.

It took me a few watches to figure out what happened, but it was Vampiric Blood expiring while I'm at low HP. I was running Umbilicus Eternus as well which kept me alive afterwards
