When I went back to Malaysia, I definitely got the “you gained weight” to my face by relatives🤦🏽♀️🤷🏽♀️. It sucks, but all I could do is just accept that I did, which is natural, given that I was living away from home and during a pandemic, no less. And ironically I feel that girls in UK also uphold themselves to a certain level of beauty, but a different kind than in Asia.
