Hi Gina, I can 💯 relate to you when it comes to over-explaining things. When I did my pre reg, I had difficulty taking any days off from work because I feel like the pharmacy would need me to work. So every time I want to take a day off, i would explain to my tutor why I needed the day off until he told me ‘it’s okay u can take any off days and u don’t have to explain why”. Thats when I learned to unexplained myself and know my priorities 😊

Thank you so much for sharing these experiences! I am currently doing pre-reg in the Newcastle area and funny enough I was actually considering moving to London's hospital after I qualified; the same ideas felt like more "learning opportunities" down south, especially in the capital city. Totally agree with you it’s the people you are surrounded by not the locations base on where the places at!

thank you so much for this video! i have been qualified for just under a year now and I will be starting a hospital job for the first time next month so I really do appreciate the advice! I was thinking about going into healthcare tech down the line of my career path, would you be able to make a video explaining how to get into that and what is involved with your friends?

Hello, italian pharmacist working in industry here. Congrats for this video, it shows you have grown a very mature self confidence and awareness otherwise it would have not been possible to go over mistakes and recognize them without being biased. On my side I can say I’m enjoying my career path however I feel I’m missing on learning opportunities for hard skills, in other words I miss the days studying pharmacology.
