I say alright a lot, and I'll work on it, so please no drilling.
    Just for jokes, lmao.

Considering that there is also the theory that the Maesters had a hand in the Dance-which is something that Marwyn claims in-universe, too-there is a chance that Otto genuinely thought the treatments were placating the king’s outwardly painful ailments. Even under Lyonel Strong’s tenure as Hand, Viserys was rapidly deteriorating; so it’s very feasible that Otto didn’t do anything but fulfill his duties as Hand to a sick king.
He did take advantage of it and turn the Red Keep into a shrine, but what else was he supposed to do? He doesn’t know a thing of Targ customs or believe in them, and turning to faith while the king is bed-ridden is a very effective way of pacifying the nobility and the people in times of uncertainty. He held the lords together and kept good relations with most of them, bringing favor to his grandchildren as well; which is TOTALLY FAIR given that the Blacks had gone off to Dragonstone and his family was the only one left to look up to.
Again, the Greens are terrible people, but they were far better prepared to run a realm plagued with intrigue like Westeros is.
Team Green (lol, like it matters).

I've been of the opinion that the Maester's conspiracy, while being an interesting one, leaves a lot undesired. The real question is that if they indeed could collude together and hold that much power, why never dedicate it to the good of the realm? Their anti-magic stance is understandable, but so far as I'm concerned, it's a good theory, but takes a lot of drama away from the books.
On the point of the Greens being more suited to run a realm, totally in agreement. They were the only ones doing a damn thing anyway while the Blacks stayed on Dragonstone for years.
Ambitious? Sure, but they earned their station well enough.

I think you are underplaying how brave was Otto for going to Dragonstone. He literaly thinks that Daemon has rebbelled. He knows thare knowing that he is going to face the man who hates him the most and has a dragon. And what does he do? Goes with like 20 man since it wouldnt matter if he took 10 000, the dragon would kill them all, so he doesn't want needles deaths. And when he arrives faces down said dragon. His only protection is the fact that he is important enough that if Daemon killed him the king would be forced to declare him a rebell and the rest of the realm would unite against Daemon.
And he does this again in episode 10.
And also there is the coronation sceene when Rhaenys decides to kill thousands of smalfolk for a cool enterance. The entire team green is frozen in fear before Meleys, and yet Otto starts shouting that they open the gates, so the civilians can escape. (This also proves that he actualy cares about the citizens of the kingdom unlike Littlefinger)
The guy face down dragons 3 times, he literally is the most fearless man in Westeros.

I did forget to mention the Dragonpit scene (even though I despise it with a passion). I also agree with your mention of facing against Daemon, and how the only thing protecting Otto at that period was the idea that he was a needed politician. If Daemon cared any lesser, he might've just killed Otto then.

The dumbest scene in the show is the dragonpit

Wholeheartedly agreed. We could've had Sunfyre and Dreamfyre flying after the coronation, but instead we got an absolutely useless scene. I get that it sets up a future event, but I think other scenes could signify that.

How about the "Rogue Prince" vs the "Steady Hand"?

I never consider blacks the good guys, rhaenyra lacks morality trought all series, alicent was more of a victim of circunstances in the power play, and she eventually ended play the game of thrones to save his family

I actually like Otto, but I root against him because he plotted by using Alicent. She was manipulated by most of the men in her life and became bitter because of it. People can argue that Corlys tried to pimp out his kids, but he never resorted to dirty tactics to do so. Corlys came to him like a man and asked if Viserys would wed Laena. Otto took Viserys' weakest moment to gain position. I believe Otto conspired with the maesters to weaken Viserys. Every medical advance that was offered was shot down for leeches. I don't believe Otto ever truly cared for Viserys. Otto saw the weakness and opportunity in him. He hated Daemon because he knew Daemon was on to his true nature. That's why Otto spied on him and kept him away from court as much as possible. He demeaned Daemon to Viserys every chance he got. He knew if Daemon stayed heir that his political career would be over. He did everything to weaken Rhaenyra's claim too. When Aegon was born, he did everything to push the Aegon for King narrative. On Aegon's second name day, the Hightowers and Lannisters were jockeying to elevate Aegon's position. He wanted the best for his family but he sacrified his family to get it.

I just hate Otto because he is hateable, haha also comparing him to Pyter is an insult to Pyter, one of the best players of the game xD. I enjoy hating on Pyter but is annoying to hate Otto, he is too normal.

Viserys never unnamed Rhaenyra. She was the rightful heir. End of story. Book AND show. Oh, also, Daemon wouldn't murder Viserys' kids without good reason. He's not Maegor. Daemon has never had any designs on the throne jesus h christ do people pay any attention? You can tell from not just F&B but the Rogue Prince as well.

Okay, but Robert Baratheon named Joffrey his heir. Does that mean Joffrey is the rightful heir and deserves to have the throne? End of story? Is it the morally just thing to keep a psychopath like Joffrey in power to do things like torture and violate a young Sansa, just because his daddy said he should be King? Does Ned Stark defying his King's wishes make him a "bad guy" like Otto? Or do some characters (like Ned AND Otto) make their decisions based on who they feel would be best for a stable realm?
Daemon killed his own wife. He mutilated hundreds of people in the streets of King's Landing. He threatens Otto and his family on a regular basis. He groomed his own niece. He decapitated someone in the middle of the throne room for challenging Rhaenyra-no trial, no warning, nothing-which is exactly what Aegon, Aemond, and Daeron are under the laws and cultures of Westeros -- just by existing: A challenge to Rhaenyra. If you were a grandfather/mother, would you not worry for your grandkids' safety in the hands of a Daemon with unchecked power? You claim that Daemon wouldn't do any of those things, like you can read his mind, but even if that were true, how the f*ck is Otto supposed to know that? He doesn't have a copy of GRRM's books like you do to figure out that Daemon is just a sweet little teddy bear inside. What he sees is a psychopath, just like Joffrey.
So from Otto's POV (and many others in the story), Daemon is a violent lunatic. Maybe Daemon isn't a bad guy deep down, but he sure as hell isn't trying to convince people otherwise. So again, if you're going to accuse others of not paying attention, then perhaps you should ask yourself the same question: Are you paying attention?

@@ahmedosman1327 The big thing about Joffrey is that he was illegitimate, not Robert's child. Without that, by westerosi standards- yes, he deserves the throne no matter how much of a shit he is. Aegon IV and Aerys II (and the Blackfyre rebellions to a lesser extent) both underscore the point that a legitimate but bad/crazy king is preferable to an illegitimate but competent one to many lords and houses.
There is no doubt that Rhaenyra is legitimate. Thus once named heir that's it, or it should be by the accepted laws of the land. That her claim could be questioned at all is a combination of her gender, Otto's influence, Viserys *lack* of influence and Rhaenyra's own bad choices in bearing obviously illegitimate kids, which weakened her previously perfect hypothetical line of succession/ many other dumb choices she made.
At the time that otto had Alicent marry Viserys, he knew that without outside intervention his grandkids would never inherit, so he tried to put them in a position to do so, which is technically illegal. No matter how Otto spins it, any scenario where Alicent kids supercede Rhaenyra on the Throne was at that time nothing less than treason.
I'm not saying Otto is wrong to point out that his line seems more stable from an administrative perspective (he is likely right, especially if Rhaenyra didn't knuckle down to actually learn how to rule). But it's still treason either way at the time he started his schemes.
