Couldn’t agree more!! I am totally fine with people loving Daemon because he’s an interesting character, but when they think he’s basically a “good guy” (which most do) it annoys me to bits. He’s a selfish piece of shit with a couple of mitigating traits. (which is what makes him interesting). I’m surprised how many were flabbergasted when he choked Rhaenyra. What did they expect? We already know he’s a violent bastard! Haven’t they seen the last 9 episodes?
Daemon and caraxes are essentially the same person he doesn't have to give commands they communicate telepathically but I agree 💯 with u I watch 🧐 the show for Daemon and Aemond
To me, Daemon is an absolute loser of a man. And I love that his arc is realizing, that he's an absolute TOOL (literally, a tool for what he can provide) of a man. And I also wasn't too big on Nettles. But she provides such an interesting juxtaposition of what it means to have power in this world - when there're several other fellow dragonseeds that fall victim to the same cycle, when everyone is obsessed with the fundamental justifications behind each individual claim to ANY sort of power, Nettles simply goes through the same motions as them; and simply decides against fire and blood. Nettles is able to literally humanize the dragons, in that we get to see these creatures as beings that you can actually BOND WITH beyond just some psycho-genetic uplink, because the dragons can have their own wants and personalities and inclinations based on how they grow. It then provides a juxtaposition with (SPOILER) how the dragons are then taken out largely BY the smallfolk (dragonseeds, BLOODY KING'S LANDING POPULACE YEAH BABY) - and then with how the dragons have all seemingly be humanized, with this potential for existence BEYOND fire and blood. It's even more fascinating, when you try to get in the nitty gritty of HOW MUCH targ she might possibly be. None at all? just a little? just enough, but it goes undetectable? Nettles is fantastic, and it'll be a shame if she's cut.
@@alexman378 And yet they won't afford Cole the same damn thing. Gotta keep up that Targ self-insert/love-interest fantasy. Though, the whole point is that Daemon can never truly have what he wants, as his desires are vapid and hollow; and founded on a sense of fundamental lack in his life. In that sense, up till the moment he decides to set the score straight with his self-sacrifice, with his personal determination as to what is truly necessary for completion and closure - he was never anything but the sort of loser he always despised.
I would hope the writers are not thoughtless enough to disregard Nettles' importance in the story story being told and exclude her from it, but I've been very disappointed before, by this very series, in the sept in episode 9.
Daemon be on that sigma retention grindset (no finish unless it’s inside the blood of the dragon)
So glad I found your channel! I'm loving your content!

They are very fun to watch indeed.

Daemon is many things, but the hyper competence he consistently displayed makes him the complete opposite of a loser.

Weeeell…
Daemon is the only reason I started watching House of the Dragon and Game of Thrones at all tbh
Valid.
How many times can one say "where was I?" in a video.
At least once more.
Bro I can't believe you're new to RUclips
and who is Dayana?
She's the servant girl who Aegon rapes in the start of the eighth episode. She's in the photo at 16:55 next to Aegon.
Yep. Started with the Viserys video, and now hoping to cover most of season 2 as it airs.
cool vid, I like your stuff but man you need to do something about the Microphone picking up your cool beard rubbing all over your shirt.
Thanks for the heads up chief. I noticed the clipping so from now on I'll tape the mic to the one I'm holding in my hand.
