How will talcum powder affect moisturizers should I apply the lotion first or the talcum powder. Will it take away the odor or cologne or is it fine with cologne

Glad you referenced possible hazards. Personally I wouldn’t use talcum powder, especially around the head area. Talc is linked to lung cancer (and ovarian cancer) and even manufacturers appear to recommend using it on body area. Baking soda and cornstarch seem to be other safer alternatives.

Just the ingredients. Talcum, the mineral can be carcinogenic if inhaled and used improperly. Most are refined these days but I prefer one that has a zinc oxide substitute instead just to be safe.

I say talc is safe but I wouldn't put it on any female parts you know.... But everywhere else on the body to stay dry it is fine... Corn starch just isn't as smooth, and doesn't last as long long especially in skin folds and arm pits
