Perfumes powder is so underrated in America! It didn't used to be either. Up through the 70's applying perfumed powder was super common. My Aunt Debbie ordered perfumed talcs from Avon all the time. I loved visiting her house. Skin oils too. The funniest story about my favorite skin oil...I have to buy it from a sex shop! 😂 "Shunga Erotic Art Erotic Massage Oil, Irresistible". It smells incredible, absorbs quickly, it's never clogged my pores, I can't praise it enough. The funny looks I get when people walk into my room and notice the bottle on my shelf are priceless too!
Another great "French Girl" video! 🥰

I love perfume powder... it's so feminine and elegant. It also add more intensity! Yes less and less women are applying perfumes powder but I am sure it will come back for a silly reason ! thank you 🥰

Well, there goes my pristine g-rated internet search history...😂. I'm off now to enthusiastically hunt down this highly recommended body oil. Thanks Cassandra. 😆 Edit: I can't find it anywhere on the planet: it's sold out everywhere. Either that or discontinued. I'll check back in a couple of months. I'm more determined to try it now.

That’s how my Chanel No 5 classic oval pink bar soap smells like too. Dreamy and feminine! I’m obsessed with it and I stash my Chanel soap in a pouch bag to store in my dresser to make my clothes smell amazing when I open my dresser to grab a shirt. Sadly, Chanel discontinued the classic 5 oval shape soap. So now they are only selling square shape soap.

Great idea! I want the Chanel n5 soap, shower gel, body cream! I will try to put it into the closet! I checked online and in France they are still making the oval soap...

@@Aliceinparisofficial Yes, in France it is available. I’m American and here they discontinued in the United States. You’ll love it 🥰 I’m going to order more (square shape soap) to put in other places and of course bath gel. 💕💕

I agree that layering your body products is such a luxurious feeling! I will have to try Roger & Gallet products. Woods of Windsor has a beautiful variety of products, I used to wear the lilac body cream and powder. One of my favorite dusting powders is Juicy Couture (original). It has slight gold flecks in it, and the fragrance lasts all day or evening. The other one is Chanel no5, dusting powder, so elegant.

Love love your video. I laughed a little because of the slight powder left on your nose, but it was too cute. I agree how dusting powders is underrated in America. We need to bring it back to being a common thing. :))

Oscar body creme and powder are fantastic products. I purchase mine from Fragrance X since they have the best price online. I actually found a Rose Woods of Windsor powder and Oscar powder at MarshalI's department store for a very inexpensive price. I also use perfumed talcs by Yardley of London. Royal Red Roses is my favorite. Shalimar powder, soap and body creme are my absolute favorite bath ritual products reserved for special evenings out. I was so inspired by your Arpege review that I had to order a vintage eau de perfume, soap and dusting powder gift set. I want to compare the vintage version to my reformulated version of Arpege. Roger Gallet rose soap has been my favorite soap since I was 19 years old and I discovered it in my favorite perfume shop Good Scents in Charleston SC. Volupte by Oscar de la Renta is another must have and the price is ridiculously low online for such a fragrance masterpiece.

Oscar de la renta bath products are on my wishlist... I want to start to buy all Chanel n5 collection. I also tried Woods of Windsor soap, shower gel and perfume and I like it. I did not try Yardley but I will be interested to compare! I did not know about Arpege soap and dusting powder! so curious to try... where did you buy it? I got a vintage version if Arpege that I just love!

Perfumed powder is so so beautiful. I wish it would come back in favor. Sets with all the forms of fragrance were so wonderful. Oil is good for dry skin. Not with the drying alcohol in sprays.

For oils, I used to LOVE the little bath balls that Caron used to make. They were these extraordinarily strong balls of perfumed oil that came in a little dissolvable 'rubbery' type of ball the size of a grape. Nobody seems to make these anymore so I'm guessing it's an environmental pollutant in terms of packaging? If not, then I have no idea why they're not around. Does Caron make bath oils still? For after bathing I love the Olverum bath oil. So delicious. Ultra safe blind buy, smells exactly as you'd imagine/hope a high end spa treatment product would smell. Uplifting, clean but juicy and moreish.

No I think It’s discontinued. They also stopped producing their bath dusting powder. If you are looking for great oil baths check Santa Maria Novella oil bath but I think they also start to discontinue them because I couldn’t find the one in the rose fragrance. I am thinking to do my own oil bath to be honest…

The most astonishingly powerful body cream I've used in YEARS is MFK's 'Oud Satin Mood'. I can't believe I can say this with confidence but it's true: you don't need to wear the fragrance itself if you have the body cream version. It's UNBELIEVABLY strong and long lasting. Far less expensive that the parfum too, so that's a great bonus. I no longer wear that fragrance (I find it give me headaches) but if I can find something as potent and tenacious that would be a treasure. It is where my 'bar' is now, in terms of goals and standards for performance.
