Oh my goodness!! I watched video, followed instructions as per Gayle & I was able to update my 880 Plus - I’m shocked!! Now I can use the 2 new hoops I just bought & so looking forward to this. Thank you, Gayle ☺️, I couldn’t have done this without you 🤩
Greetings from New Zealand. First time doing an update on my 790+, what a breeze with your tutorial Gayle. Tks heaps, will pass this on to others in our B700 class run by our local Bernina shop who get these hoops. We are all learning!!!
I love your videos. I'm not in the USA but your videos are my go to for info re Bernina. Thank you for making your videos humourous. Keep up the good work!
I noted that you didn't have any other files on your Bernina of Naperville USB stick. I have had trouble installing a previous update with a USB stick I got at Best Buy that was a large capacity (16G?). It is so important to have your USB stick because it is a small capacity stick (2G?) and have the update as the only file on it. It worked perfectly this time! Great explanation, as expected from Bernina of Naperville and Gayle.
Amazing Gail, thank you so much for your clear instructions, I love watching you and your videos, you make it so much fun and easy to follow along, thank you. Michelle.
@@CathConvertKris we don’t do videos on the 780. It’s an older machine and we simply do not even have one in stock. Also, this firmware will not work on the B 780 nor will these hoops.
@@BERNINAofNaperville okay thank you. I was just looking for it since the video at 42 seconds said there would be a video in the fall that shows how update the 750, 780 and 830. On the Bernina website there is a final firmware update 8/22/23- I’m sure it’s the last one but I wanted to make sure I install it correctly. I’ll follow along this video since it’s so recent I’m hoping it will be similar. Thank you!
Thanks for your comment. Perhaps you can add that in your video. RUclips doesn’t allow for edits once a video goes up. But that information is in the BERNINA instructions which we recommend I’m the video.
I have an older Bernina 200E. It has a USB drive and has been upgraded to 64MB. Version is 01.04.04 and it also says BSR. There is no port or cable so I assume the firmware was updated but the hardware wasn't added. Curious if that can still be done?
Not really. There’s are no more updates available for the bernina 200/730. Besides, the new hoops do not apply as they are too big for the space on that smaller model.
You can update the L 890 when the time comes. There is a USB port on the rear of the machine covered in a protective plastic white cover. There are currently no updates for the L 890 unless you bought one of the very first ones. then potentially. Check with your local BERNINA Dealer for details.
@@BERNINAofNaperville Not easy...I live very rurally and it would have to be shipped back halfway through the Province. While I love my "dealer" they only sell machines. And I'm an anomaly with the 570. Most people in the region only do standard sewing. Thanks though.
I just followed everything you did for my 770 qe plus. The version for it is 39.08.08. It goes through all the motions but when I check after it is still the older version which is 39.07.12
