I have the Atomic heat formed boots ~ two seasons. Absolute best fit ever and light weight. Buy from a shop with experience forming the boot. Your skiing and comfort will be the best.
just got mine but i'm confused - that plastic wedge they include can ONLY be used when the lean is at 13deg, and not at 15deg or 17deg? so only stiffer when more upright?
Just got off the phone with our boot shop. The wedge can be used at all degrees, but it's not an easy task. They said that it sometimes takes two people to bend the cuff in order to get the holes to line up. So while it's possible for skilled professionals, it doesn't sound like a simple home fix to me.

Yeah! More of these boot reviews, please - cheers, Bob 👋
Hey there, just wondering how these perform off piste? Are they too light or just right?
Great boots for off-piste skiing! Couple people on our staff ski in the Hawx Ultra and love them for just about everything.
lighter weight skier? how light is light? lbs?
I'd say someone in the 120-165 lbs range would be considered a lighter weight skier.
