    🎸Whats new in V3?🎸
    New re-voiced studio quality FX in super wide stereo. Dedicated input for connecting to your smart device via TRRS cable (sold separately). The amp can be connected to the free Mac + PC app “Blackstar Architect” for deep control. Architect also features the new Cab Rig Lite software which allows you change the emulated cabinet, mic and mic position used on the headphone out + USB output.
    Additionally the amp can be used as a 4 channel interface by connecting it to a Mac or PC via USB. All the new V3 amps can be powered by wall power (included) or the new portable Blackstar power bank “PB1” (sold separately).

    I bought one of these little guys because I wanted something I can easily carry from room to room around the house, and my Mesa isn’t very portable lol
    I was blown away by the sonic quality, loudness, and that ISF knob that allows you to sweep from Fender to Marshall and everything in between. I couldn’t be happier for something I grabbed off of FB Marketplace for $80

      @@pixy547 They are all great amps. If you want loads of great effects then go with the Blackstar. Marshall is a nice classic tone. But I have played the Orange crush 35rt and it is brilliant. Loads of tone options, plenty of reverb and it has a tuner and an effects loop. I would say go with the Orange.

    This thing KICKS ASS. I have 2 amps at home, Marshall DSL1CR and the Blackstar ID Core10 V3. The blackstar serves me very well and will never be sold. I play both amps regularly. I go to Marshall mainly when I want that tube Marshall crunchy vibe.
    I could never say, that the blackstar id core 10 is less of an amp. In contrary, it is the PERFECT HOME PRACTICE AMP. It brings awesome effects, the bedroom volume is just perfect (sounds great on low volume and blows the roof when you crank It up). Put it in the middle of the room, stand up (or sit) in front of it, try out some effects and magic with the superwide stereo starts...you will just keep looking in the corners, wondering where all these sounds come from...well, it all comes out of this little mfking piece of gear. UNBELIEVABLE!
    The architect software is an amazing addition which allows you to tune in any sound from lovely cleans, Chuck Berry, AC/DC, Led Zeppelin, RATM to heavy metal.
    This thing is absolutely unbeatable for the price. A clear recommendation.
    This demo is brilliant, good job, man!

      Also try plugging in your guitar to the amp and turning the volume on the guitar down all the way and see if it's still there. If it's not those two things then I'm not sure. If you can narrow it down to definitely being from the amp then maybe film it and e-mail Blackstar 👍

      Yeah I like it on the USA ISF side for higher gain. The Blackstar headphone outs are the best by far in this price ranfe. I find the cab emulation is hugely important in metal and you can connect the Blackstar through USB and audition all the different onboard cabs until you find one that's perfect, then save it to the amp. 👍

    Hey there. do I need di-box for more clean and less noise sound before the amp? The Blackstar Architect is a standalone app or a VST/AU that can be use in DAW? Last question, that sound came out from those 2 mics? Thank you.

    • @TobysGuitarGearDemos
      @TobysGuitarGearDemos  3 года назад +1

      All sounds are from the 2 mics apart from the DI out + cab rig sections. Blackstar Architect is it's own app. You can run it at the same time as your DAW (externally) or not at all if you want. Not 100% sure what your asking about the DI box. The amp has a built in noisegate (controlled in Architect) for the higher gain sounds so you don't need a noise gate in-between your guitar and amp. Hmm, unsure, could be a grounding issue, or could be that you can forensically hear the hum on the guitar with headphones on (there usually is some hum, but shouldn't be loads). Might be worth contacting Blackstar if it's there on different sets of headphones even without a guitar plugged in.

      Katana is probably more versatile, I prefer the tone of the Blackstar ID core series. However, for metal Katana probably edges it 👍

      Blackstar better for an all in one package with very good FX and a massive array of good sounding amp models. 35RT is good if you want the Orange gain sound which you can't get out of the others 👍

      The crunch on the Blackstar is really nice, especially if you connect it to computer and adjust the sound further to your guitar. Not tried the Vox but the old Vox modelling stuff was excellent. You can't really go wrong with either 👍

    Can you use multi effects pedals with this amp? I heard somewhere that they don’t react to pedals being plugged in

    • @TobysGuitarGearDemos
      @TobysGuitarGearDemos  3 года назад +2

      Yeah should work decent. Only thing to be aware of is most practice amps (this one included) don't have an FX loop. That means that you can only run your FX pedal in-front of the amp so all fx will be affected by the amps preamp (distortion etc.)
