Thanks for the feedback. (-: Looks even better with the good finish on it.

By the way, how long does the product last if you have some left over?

Great Question! A long time if you keep it in a sealed jar, I have stuff that has lasted years. I've also found that if you have only a quart left don't keep it in a gallon can, if you put that in a quart jar there is less air to surface area of finish and it last longer before skinning over. There are also products such as Bloxygen that you can spay in the can as you close the lid that will push the oxygen out and make the finish's shelf life go a lot longer. Happy Tinkering!

Don't let anyone tell you that Watco tung oil isn't tung oil or that it's mixed with some kind of synthetic varnish. Tung oil isn't the only thing in the bottle, but it's all that gets left on the wood when it's dry. I love that stuff. It's better than pure tung.

I totally agree, Finish is a really hard topic as most of what is in the can is not well labeled or documented. You never know for sure what you get. I think Finishing can often be the hardest part of a project.

Why are you saying teak oil? Isn’t the product tung oil? I can’t make out the writing on the can because the resolution of your video is so low. At least that’s what Sam used-tung oil👍😂

Yes, good call. Well you can use Teak oil and I had some on hand and decided not to use it - honestly I got on a roll and forgot I had the tung out out. Thanks for stopping in...
