10/10 video. Everything this week is super user friendly , and I appreciate that. Thanks for this. Great little projects, too. I especially love the herb garden house. I think that handbag would be awesome in my bedroom -just drop a small plant in there. I can think of so many things to put in that handbag build. Love today’s video, thank you so much Matthew!
That is what I "Wood" do. Lol Quarter inch luan. Cut down to 5" strips, and paint black or white and attach the tiles to that. No way you want to try and hang those individually.
So GOOD! You are a mine of inspiration. I go back and watch your videos all the time. I'm currently working on the building the workbenches you did, only I'm increasing size of main one and mounting my table saw on the end. Also making another shelf that aligns with the saw. Now I'll have a area near top I can easily access when working. I might put some drawers there too. That still leaves the bottom shelf available for other storage.
Add some cream cheese and make a wonderful pumpkin cheesecake. 🎉. Thanks for sharing. I love the blocks. Going to make them for my married grandchildren Can use them everywhere even outside I want to build the end tables for front door outside. I have a lot of pallet wood. 🤑. Love the wooden HANDBAG. 😂 Can use the little houses for different uses. Signs are always popular Thanks for your research and sharing
Lately I've been hung up on the idea of just taking plywood and and cutting grooves in it with the table saw to mimic a fence. I know it can work because I did something similar to imply floorboards or deckboards and it looked freaking great! I just thought I'd drop the idea here and you (or anybody) could try it out and see if it's viable. You could make one of those signs in literally 5 minutes with about $0.75 of 1/2" luan. You could sell them for like $10 and still make a profit (assuming it looks good, of course).
Great projects for spring!! I made the side table out of pallets for a guy i dated, he loved it. It has 3 shelves and taller. He keeps it near his entrance. What is your favorite pie?
Great ideas & research MP. Now to think about ways to stage that stuff and see what my local competition is doing. tough time of the year to sell. Cheers ! till next time.
Matthew my man!!! Happy New Year brother! Where you been? Welcome back!! Great video! Keep up the smalls that sell! I love these! Sadly I gotta move! Which means I gotta stop woodworking for a bit to build my new shop. Going to build a barndianum. Sorry for spelling. This way I can have a shop and my place to live. Considering filming this from start to finish. I’ll still be watching and taking notes. Wish me luck and looking forward to catching you on RUclips as always!
I really need to get a compound sliding miter saw. Mine is old & cutting any angles is a nightmare. 😂 I am anti pumpkin pie, too. For my family, it's sweet potato pie. I think that's a southern preference. 😁
Question! For the scrabble letters, would you connect them together OR give each individual letter to the customer to mount to the wall themselves? If you connect them together, how would you recommend doing that?
I got some used 4” fence panels for $10 each. They are going to make some great project wood for rustic projects. Love the projects you build and plan to build some of them myself.
Great video as always! I would like to make a request for your next Harbor freight tool review. They have a new miter gage with extruded aluminum frnce for the table saw. It's part of the Bauer line. I'd love to get your take on it.
I made this YEARS ago out of new un-used drawer sides, made out of birch wood. At $30 I sold 1 at our local swapmeet of the family home love. Even joined them on the back so they were all one piece. A lot of wasted time and material. Side note: Find someone with a "cricut" machine (there are many better brands in case you decide to huy) and have them cut the letters out of permanant vinyl (Oracal 351 - comes colored, matte, shiny and more). I do a lot of smalls home decor and paint most of it. Ive got years of doing this stuff. Painting is risky and time consuming. And if you plan to do more projects like this, just invest in your own machine. You could also use heat transfer vinyl and an iron. This is nicer look, but more $ for HTV. Try the various ways and see which you prefer. Good luck to anyone making these.
Alright. I love the ideas. Already have a booth at farmers market for vegetables. Where do i start looking for some of this equipment? Ive never used a miter saw, obviously dont necessarily want to buy one until i know i would use it, where do i start?
I think it may be even simpler, for the distressed table, to build the top and bottom "aprons" as frames, then attach the four legs around the corners since one apron is inset and one is flush with the outside. All you need to do then is put the top and shelf pieces on. At least I believe I am seeing that correctly. What do you think? V/r Robert
Great work. Very inspirational. My one question is how do you pack band ship them economically? They are both bulky and heavy, so shipping charges must be huge.
If you couple AR apps with AI, you can create a virtual model that people can place in their room. It’s not hard, just requires learning a few things and taking lots of photos.
Thank you for the commentary. People who need to put up a BATH sign in the bathroom need mental help. Isnt it kinda of obvious what the purpose of the room is? Reminds me of the Army. Urinals all had labels that said Flush After Use.
@@Struthio_Camelus No, not the alphabet. The letter with the number designation in the corner as in a Scrabble tile piece. That could be be copyrighted like the game itself is.
I like his videos. But what $$$ he says you can make is ridiculous! Unless you're considering that one sucker you find. Or have a established business that people are buying the name quality not the product quality
I have sold a ton of his planters at the prices he gives and the Martin house and Covered Bridge Bird feeders stay sold out. With just the feeder and house I clear about $400.00 extra a month
I mean the fact that they're selling on these websites and stores and he's recommending selling for about half that price most times, you should be able to make some money like this.
yeah its a hustle. making the item is just the first step. staging, photos, etsy(4-10% cut), ebay(5-10% cut) or facebook sites, going to flea markets, farmers markets, etc. Its all about building a Brand Name.
@@shanebailey6341 you definitely have to be able to sell 10, 20 or 30 items at a time, because you only see a major time savings if you can batch these things out, and have a place to store them.
Excellent ideas, as always. The herb planter box is especially intriguing, and I'll be modifying your version to suit my taste. Thank you!
Such inspiration. Love the simplicity of these builds.
I already got a order for my scrable letters from my Mom!! She turned hers upside down and now has them on her wall spelling WOW!!
Pumpkin pie to boost the algorithm.
Pumpkin pie is the best
Such great ideas Mathew. I appreciate that you are always looking for ways to help us make a living. Thank you
That little herb house thing... Is absolutely adorable. I wish my mom was alive so I could have made her one.
Now those are some great ideas and great for beginners or really any skill level to turn and burn. 🎉🎉🎉 thanks for sharing Brother Matt 🫡
Thank you for sharing. My wheels are turning now to add my own twist. You are amazing. Please keep sending out your messages and videos.
At 14:00...."chop...chop... pop....pop" you forgot to say cha-ching$_$_$. Great video as always... Stay safe, Tim in Texas
Nice video Matthew! Thanks for the links for the “scrabble” stencils!
No problem!
I love the scrabble letter idea. Some shipping cost homework would definitely be required!
Another awesome video, Matthew, Happy New Year
Happy New Year to you too!
Another excellent video! And great ideas to boot.
Thank you!
ty, awesome once again.

Thanks.

I went to get the stencil for the scrabble tiles, where did you get the ones for the numbers and what size are they? thank you

I'm in California, and selling for any descent amount is extremely difficult. Online even harder because of shipping cost and competition.
I would add picture frames to the scrabble letters.
The “Wood Purse” - “chop chop chop chop. Cut cut cut cut” 😂

Ive never used vinyl - would it adhere to rough surfaces, such as cedar fence pickets?
Oh, that makes sense! I have friends with a cricut. Thank you!
Sweet potato pie for the win!
Great ideas.
Thank you!
Pumpkin pie is wonderful I'm offended JK
Caught this 15 minutes after you posted. Coincidently, there were already 43 comments. There is something about 43 this morning!
Sounds like a lucky number today. 😬
Love the smalls that sell videos. Thanks good sir.🧩
I agree on Pumpkin Pie Not my go to pie choice.
Do you hang the letters individually or do you glue them together.
I would call the box a Garden Purse. How's that Matt?
Cedar fence pickets are unobtanium in western New England/eastern NYS.
Alright. I love the ideas. Already have a booth at farmers market for vegetables. Where do i start looking for some of this equipment? Ive never used a miter saw, obviously dont necessarily want to buy one until i know i would use it, where do i start?
But I must reiterate I love your videos!

I do believe I have a Christmas present idea for my sister in law. They are impossible to buy for and it has to be something she doesn't have.

Not name dropping the Big Box Stores any longer. Did you get a C&D letter?
What type of wood for the homes......?? interesting color grain

Something like that may be better off sold locally
Mathew, love you site and insight, how are the letters linked? backer board or individually hung.
Dont know if this has been said but the link for the scrabble stencils is incorrect. Its just regular letters.
Is the scrabble letter/number format copyrighted?
I doubt it - but I would not use the game name in your marketing or advertising if selling these.
Small work if you can sell many of them. Ive tried and failed. Gave many away. Maybe i suck at marketing. Bigs are what have sold for me

Apple pie and Pumpkin pie are the OGs of pies!!! Don't be a hater
Blueberry, peach, and strawberry-rhubarb, not necessarily in that order.
Let me adjust not realistic in most areas... again not knocking in any way...love this guy!! 🎉👍😎
Suggestion: For the legs of the small table, why not use 2x2's ?
I did mine. Just for my personal use. Awesome idea. 36 titles…. Yikes.good money
I wonder if you could find out what the big sellers are at a place like IKEA and produce your own?
You never had my grandma's Pumpkin Pie
Good morning
Good morning!
I'm glad to hear that you think pumpkin pie is not good. I can't stand pumpkin spice anything.
We need more lights
No bro... we do not. lol.
More fun turning 120 into 4.
lol

Decor doesnt need a reason. BUT a useful thing in the bath is a small 6 board chest, its cute and useful to store things.
Great stuff.
By the way. the link to the course didn't work for me (404)
Will you be putting these designs in your shop for sale?
Sorry, no plans for these. I just walk you through these.
@MatthewPeechWoodworking I will find another way to donate what you would charge for the plans. Right now, my garage workshop is frigid
I agree. Pumpkin pie looks like baby poop.
😂 yes!
@@MatthewPeechWoodworking You obviously aren't putting enough whipped cream on it.....
I also vehemently dislike pumpkin pie or indeed pumpkin in any shape or form .
Honestly, I would never put any of this stuff in my house.
I can't wait for the rustic stuff to go out of style.
Love the video but disagree about pumpkin pie.
#teampumpkinpie 😊
Would there be any copyright issues with the Scrabble letters? It's a great idea, but I'd hate to get sued for selling them.
Copyright on the alphabet? I'd be surprised. Then again, I'm surprised several times a week.
@@Struthio_Camelus No, not the alphabet. The letter with the number designation in the corner as in a Scrabble tile piece. That could be be copyrighted like the game itself is.
Sorry the 1st idea was a trend that happened years ago, unfortunately
I liked this video just to support your view of pumpkin pie.
Blasphemy
😆
What?!? What is wrong with you people?!?! Pumpkin pie is great! 😂😂😂
Way better than sweet potato
Pumpkin pie is gross. 😅
Sweet potato pie and shut my mouth....
are you sure all those reviews are not generated by an AI bot?
Pumpkin pie is GROSS!!!!
So should there be holes in the bottom or no?

My mom made a pumpkin custard pie which is way less dense.
It isn't. Your departure will be celebrated :)
Sweet Tater Pie is mor better
Lol you took my joke
Lost a sub. Pumpkin pie is the pie.
Pumpkin pie is gross??? wow unfollowed LOL
Slandering pumpkin pie! Unsubscribed! 😆

D-I-S-G-U-S-T-I-N-G.
